Beautiful property. extremely well-designed suites. Very friendly personnel. Excellent location for the Matterhorn view. The room was tastefully decorated, with a comfortable bed, excellent house cleaning services. Provide personal skincare product, especially the sheep soap that I love it ! Breakfast was also excellent. I’d want to go there again ! :)

This was our final stay in Switzerland, absolutely lovely! The view from our room was an unobstructed view of the Matterhorn. The food was very good as well as the service, Linda was great! The front desk staff were very accommodating when we arrived a little early, this was greatly appreciated. The location of Europe Hotel was really nice for the hiking we were doing. Zermatt was really busy and we felt just far enough away from that at Europe Hotel.

We arrived and decided rather than call for a shuttle, we would walk through town. It was a pleasant walk, and the hotel was easy to find. The staff couldn't have been more helpful or welcoming. We stayed in room 122, and if I had it to do again I would ask for a different room. First, no view. but more important, since we were there in very warm weather, the only way to cool the room is to open the window to the fresh alpine air! Great! Until we listened to people talking very loudly until 2:00 am outside my window. Not sure if it was another room, another hotel, or what, but I heard every word being spoken, and laughter, etc. So I closed the windows until 2:00 am then opened them. The breakfast was very nice and elegant, and service top rate. We had drinks in the bar the night before, and it was very pleasant too (we sat on the back patio) We took a shuttle from the hotel to the train station and it was brisk and convenient. We would stay here again for sure.

Had the most fantastic week at this beautiful hotel. Fabulous breakfast and a stunning room with a Matterhorn view. The staff were superb, especially Katrin at reception - she gave us so much advice about where to go and suggested some absolutely stunning hikes and day trips. The location of the hotel is perfect, in the centre but lovely and quiet, an absolute must if you’re in zermatt

Very comfortable facility in a good location, fantastic Matterhorn views from windows and balconies, great staff, but one notable negative: the floor-to-ceiling see-through clear-glass bathroom doors and wall. Somebody obviously thought it was a cool idea, but it’s basically a design flaw: significant privacy issue for anybody except singles or else people who know each other really, really well; also means you can’t use the bathroom lights at night without lighting up the entire hotel room. Not-quite-adequate workaround is a motion-activated bathroom night light that tries to split the difference, but better just to replace the bathroom doors and wall. Beyond that it’s a lovely hotel.

Do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel. Amazing experience, lovely staff, great food. The spa is also spectacular. Great location between all the key activities.
