Everything you could wish for in a Zermatt hotel… super location 300m from the Kleinmatterhorn lift station. Spacious rooms with comfortable beds and quality crisp bedlinen. Balcony and well equipped kitchen area. Luxury of room service delicious breakfast ordered the evening before. Generous coffee & tea facilities topped up every day. Spa facilities second to none: pool, hot tub, steam rooms, sauna no better way of rejuvenating ski legs after a day on the slopes. And best of all The Firefly team… always smiling always helpful running the coolest cosiest bar (Bar 55) in the whole resort. We speak from experience of more than 30 years skiing in Zermatt. The last seven years in The Wonderful Firefly. See you next year!

Very nice small hotel with great spa area (jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and bar too - perfect location! Loved having breakfast delivered to my room - a wonderful place to stay in Zermatt - went with family and friends - beautiful place for sure! Linda

Very nice and cozy Hotel...it is Zermatten with a twist of Rock Chic. Loved the bar 55 and it's comfy couches by the fireplace. The Hotel is left side of the Vispa river, overlooking the Matterhorn. I felt very welcomed, and I highly suggest the Firefly for it's décontracté ambience.

I can’t say enough great things about this hotel. The location is fantastic. Easy walk to the main street or access to the Matterhorn. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Check in was a breeze. The hotel is beautifully decorated. You place your request for breakfast the night before and they deliver it to your room. Food was good and promptly brought. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Let them know ahead of time for your arrival and they will send the cutest little car for you! It’s a must stay if you are coming to Zermatt!!

Always great hidden jem in the heart of Zermatt. It is located a short distance from downtown and the train station. Upon arrival were we picked up from the train station and whisked away to the hotel. At the hotel we recieved a warm, inviting welcome. Our suite was very large, which included a large bedroom. a bath area with both a tub and shower and a living space containing a kitchen, a dining area, a relaxation area with a balcony open to free space below. A beautiful spa area, a pool and hot tub as an added bonus. Beautifully decorated with items the owners have found to ensure the space has a warm, inviting feel. We felt as if we were in a welcoming space. Breakfast, served in your room with white linen, silverware and white dinnerware. The food was freshly prepared and delivered and set up. The bar area was cozy and inviting. lots of interesting items, wonderful seating, a game room and even a cigar room seperate and vented. In our travels, we are so happy we found this wonderful place to call home for a few days. Thank you to the staff and owner for making us fell so welcomed. The Matterhorn is visible from the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay at The Firefly. When we arrived, we were greeted at the train station by staff and taken to the hotel by electric shuttle. The checkin was easy and very informative. Went to our room which had three bedrooms. Great view of the Matterhorn from one room. Decorated perfectly. Breakfast was delivered to us in our room at a time we selected. They let us use backpacks for hiking. The jacuzzi was covered and had a great seating arrangement. Had multiple sauna rooms as well. The bar was nice and bartenders were very friendly and great at making cocktails. Rooms don’t have AC but it was cool Enough at night. We would definitely stay here again if we come back.

The hotel staff were absolutely amazing, especially Chris and Alessandra. Nothing was ever a problem and they catered to every one of our dietary requirements, organised ski passes, recommended restaurants and booked our parking space. The suite was stunning and ideal for our family of 6 people. We are definitely coming back

As usual a great place to be. The staff are the best. The breakfasts are amazing. The bar is fantastic. Very clean and well organized. We will always come back to Firefly. Its like seeing your family after a holiday. Kudos to Firefly and the team.
