The breakfast is very good, the freshly squeezed orange juice is very good, the fruit bread and the local ham are also very good, the breakfast can get full marks, the hotel is an old hotel, so the facilities are still relatively old, the suites are not very spacious, but the lobby is very grand and the restaurant is good . My family were travelling back to Sandander after staying in Costa Blanca. After a lot of research, we decided to stay overnight in Zaragoza and decided to stay in NH Gran Hotel in Zaragoza.as the hotel claimed it had facilities for wheelchair users. My grandson is 21 and a wheelchair user. We arrived at the hotel and was faced with several steep steps, no ramps, only makeshift wooden ramps. That was the first bad experience. My grandson went into meltdown as he feared he would not get up the ramps as they were too steep. A very nice man from Reception helped get my grandson up the ramps, My grandson was terrified. We checked in and then the fun began. The lifts were too small to get my grandson in. Another meltdown. My daughter started to dismantle his wheelchair, removing his tray where his controls operate from, to reduce the width of his chair. It was horrendous and we decided to stop as it was causing too much distress. The Hotel reception found us another Hotel nearby, which was again not a good experience. I think Spain do its best, but they do not do disabilities well,

Staff are very helpful and friendly. The location was incredible - around 5 mins from ‘el tubo’ tonnes of amazing different local tapas restaurants. Room was comfy, clean, had a big door you could look out over the street Would come again :)

We wanted an hotel that was close to all the main attractions and offered guaranteed secured parking. This hotel ticked both boxes. Parking is on 3 levels under the hotel building. Level -3 is easy to access and was quieter than the other 2. There is a lift at Level -3 that will take you directly to the hotel reception and then onto your room. When arriving remember the hotel's signage does not mention ”Silken”. Location could not be any better and we left our car in the garage for the duration of our visit. We didn't even find the need to take a tram or taxi, given how close everything was. Our bright clean room was large and on the quiet side of the hotel, 5 floors up. Remember this is a city and there will be a little outside noise. Nothing that worried us though. There was a good size safe, Mini bar and TV but strangely no Tea & Coffee making facilities. The only other comment on the room would be their strange choice of ”privacy glass” on the bathroom door. Maybe a rethink is required? Breakfast was good with a wide choice to, I suspect, suit most guests. Both Staff and guests seemed to be observing Covid protocols. Finally a couple of tips. Consider booking one or two visits in advance, such as a tower visit. If you are an oldie, remember to carry i/d as many attractions offer OAP/ Seniors discounts. Enjoy your visit.

The location of the hotel is very close to the Goya Museum, because the zaragoza itself is not very large, it is also a place to eat everywhere, and the place where the restaurant gathers is about four or five hundred meters. What does the Spanish Inquisition have in common with Hotel Don Jaime? Once you go in, you’ll never sleep again. This place is so noisy it’s like living in the middle of rush hour on the main street in Beijing or Delhi. The noise never stops until 3am even on weekdays. It sounds like garbage trucks backing up and unloading until 2am. The walls are so thin that when the guest in the next room has a shower it’s like Niagara Falls in your own bedroom. When they draw down the blinds it’s so loud you’ll definitely wake up at whatever time they do. The location is very central and convenient and the front office staff are very helpful but you will never sleep at this place

Great location, just minutes from most of the major attractions, Restaurants and the Bus to/from Delicias Station is right outside. Entrance Foyer is very much like a Hotel. Good Gym, but Pool wasn't available as it was too cold, even though their website said it was. We had a large Apartment on the 1st floor. At first glance it looked really nice, but after a few minutes, you realised that it was of very poor quality - Kitchen was old, cheap Crockery (pyrex), pans with broken handles; you had to run the hot tap for over a minute before any hot water came out - a tremendous waste of resource, especially with a drought in the region. It took 2 days for someone to come and open the inroom safe for us. You have to ask for the basic of appliances - Kettle, Toaster, etc. Bathroom extractor fan did not work and there was no visible signs of a smoke detector either. There were works of some sort going on, but we weren't pre-warned of the noise. We complained several times to the Staff, but they didn't seem bothered. Even the Manager laughed at some of our issues. They did buy us some new pans - I can only imagine, that the 'spare' pans they did have for other Apartments were of the same poor quality, so they had to buy us new ones. Overall, a great location and the Apartment had a very comfortable bed - alas, the quality of the Apartment was very poor and nowhere near the expectations of a 4* establishment.

We were a night of walking through Zaragoza and as we already knew this hotel from other previous stays, we didn't want surprises. A central hotel, very close to the Plaza España and the whole centre of the Tubo and the Basilica, gave us for three people a very large room, with very comfortable beds and well equipped with regard to the washing machine. We don't eat at the hotel so we can't comment on this issue except for breakfast: for our taste quite well, very acceptable, sure more than one would miss some product but we neither eat much nor are too much ”sybaritas”. Therefore, no complaints about it. You do not have your own parking, if you come in the weekend you may be able to park on adjacent streets since the blue area is free (or was it before). In our case, as we came between weeks, this was not possible and we had to leave the car in the parking they have concerted a couple of streets, 5 minutes (to make a idea, pay € 15 for a whole day). In the end, it is a safe bet for us when we approach the city.

This small but charming Boutique hotel has everything you need to have a great stay in Zaragoza- Its clean, comfortable, inexpensive, and centrally located! We stayed in a small but comfortable double bed room with spectacular views of the Church and main square. Loved the quirky artistic decor, front desk staff very polite and pleasant, gave us useful tips and were friendly and accommodating. Tourism office right next door, lots of shopping and great restaurants all around- we only stayed one night but we made the most of our time there. Very walkable and good bus/taxi system if you need it. The Pilar Plaza Hotel was a great choice and I highly recommend - as well as the City itself- Zaragoza is a wonderful place to visit!!

It was good ... but not phenomenal. The room was not ventilated nor with open windows. Towards a soaking heat, though the outdoor time was great. I asked for air conditioning, but they told me that it couldn't yet be activated ... I didn't understand anything. But as location is good.
