Terrible Experience - Dishonest Host and Front Desk My experience at this hotel was incredibly frustrating and disappointing. I booked a room through Trip.com, and my friend booked another through ***********. Upon arrival, we were told that only one room was available, even though our reservations showed two different rooms with distinct sizes (32m² for mine and 26m² for my friend's). The host admitted he knew about the double booking issue from the start but didn't inform us, despite contacting my friend earlier to confirm our arrival time. He only asked if we were willing to share a room when we arrived, given the lack of other options in the area at that time of night. That evening, the host offered a 70% refund for my booking, which was disappointing but we agreed to it. However, when we checked out, the hotel refused to provide any refund at all. They claimed that I had stayed in the second room, which was not true. I had stayed in the room booked under my friend’s name, so we effectively paid for two rooms but only got one, with no refund for the unused room. The host and the front desk staff were incredibly unhelpful and dishonest throughout the process. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and it shows a complete lack of integrity. If we hadn't been friends, this could have been a much worse situation, possibly leaving one of us without a place to stay. I would strongly advise against staying here if you're looking for trustworthy and reliable service.

What a fantastic hotel! Everything about it was perfect - comfortable beds, super clean room, everything you need to be comfortable (even makeup wipes!). Friendly owners. Had the best sleep of my life both nights. Super close to the train station for day trips to Amsterdam or Haarlem. Lots of restaurants nearby, and it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach. Can’t wait to bring my husband and have another visit. 💜

We recently returned from a six-night stay at the Boutique Hotel Margretha, and the four of us were sorry to leave. I will attempt to cover all of the positives. Harry and Linda are fantastic hosts--friendly and accommodating without being intrusive. The daily breakfast delivered to your door is a lovely and filling Dutch feast with fresh rolls and croissants from a local bakery, cheese and meats, yogurt, fresh fruit, and eggs. The rooms are beautifully furnished--spacious, and comfortable. The beds are excellent providing a comfortable night's sleep. The beach and the town are a primary attraction, but should the weather be poor, the rooms are a lovely place to spend a relaxing day. Zandvoort is a perfect location from which to visit Haarlem, Amsterdam, and any other spots in the Netherlands. The hotel is located a 3-5 minute walk (depending on your age and mobility) from the train station from which you can travel to Amsterdam in 30 minutes. It is the perfect base for a visit to this wonderful country. We have visited the Netherlands several times but after staying here, we can't imagine a better location or a more perfect experience. We can't wait to return.

We have been very excited in front of our stay and based on the different positive comments we read. Everything was true and we have had a very relaxed and comfortable stay in a very unique Hotel. For sure we will come back and maybe we will add a night.

What a unique experience! We stayed at the hotel after the Ferry Coster & friends festival at Beach club Fuel and what a stay it was ! A beautiful building fully refurbished to the highest standard with a smart home environment. Linda & Harry are an example of how hosts should be ! There is a parking garage just 5 minutes walking distance from the hotel and you can hire (electric) bikes, what we did to go to the festival. Our room was beautiful and luxurious with extremely comfy beds and pillows. In the morning our delicious breakfast was served in the room. This amazing hotel truly is a gem in Zandvoort and highly recommended!

We went to Zandvoort for Formula1 and stayed at Boutique Hotel Margretha. What a fantastic experience - the hotel is amazing!! Harry and Linda are the best hosts ever. Everything organised perfectly, and the breakfast was just amazing!! If we make it back to Zandvoort next year for the F1, this is the only place we will be staying
