Balcony Boutique Hotel

I need to say that this hotel is nothing special. I do not know why it has such a good rate on booking or tripadvisor because it is not so good. They are not prepared to any changes or they do not try to fulfill some of your desires. We were there in July. We understand that this is the top season. But when we make a reservation through mail we kindly asked them if they have an open sea view for our stay. They said that for the first night they are booked but for other days they have it for us. We asked about our open sea view couple times and they said always the same “you have side sea view” which is basically parking view…even on the day of our arrival we send them a mail about sea view and they said: “Yes you have it” but once again it was more parking view than sea view. The receptionist was friendly but we felt like we are in school and not an adult couple because they took us to our room (we are able to find it by ourselves) and she explained about everything…even that we need to put their card to the card slot to have the electricity…we know that because it is not the first thing being in the Hotel. Immediately we told that we do not like the room. It was near the car park and near the exit to this car park, during the night there was a lot of noise. Rooms are not good isolated and you hear every person who comes to Hotel by car and takes a lift to higher floors. You hear the talking and everything else. We said to the receptionist first day that we do not like to be near the exit due to the noise but she just smiled and said it should be ok, do not worry. Is that an answer? When we said the we asked for the room with open sea view she said: “You have a sea view, I do not know if we have any rooms with open sea view but i will take a look and let you know” but she did not inform us about that. The breakfast is tasty. But ok…nevertheless we just slept there and it was ok. You also need to know that you have to walk to Tsilivi for about 20-30minutes to get to the city centre because the Hotel is on the hill.
Elena's Studios

We spent 1 week at Elena's with 2 of my friends. The place is very nice, clean and everybody is very kind and respectful. Everybody speaks in English in the hotel, even the cleaner ladies. Rooms were cleaned nicely every day, towels changed every 3 days. The bathroom is a bit small but was enough. The beach is about 10 minutes away, lots of nice restaurant within 5 minutes.I definitely will come back to Elena's studios.Thx for everything.❤️

This is an amazing hotel and was perfect for our needs. Two adults and a 13 & 10 year old. We stayed two weeks and had no issues at all. They can't do enough for you. The room was cleaned everyday. Fresh towels every two days. Pool area clean and tidy too. The lady behind the bar from Leeds is really friendly and helpful. Always said hello to me everyday and made the effort to talk to all guests. Sorry I'm rubbish with names. Check in and out was easy. Room comes with free air con and safe. It is in a quite part so no issues with noice late at night. Has a car park too Water park is across the road which was great for the kids
Metaxa Hotel

A pleasant enough hotel for 2 stars. On arrival, we waited quite some time for anyone to come to serve us, we arrived at around 5 pm. We were roughly pointed in the direction of our room. The room was clean on arrival, but the cleaning in the week that we stayed was very hit and miss. There were no cups in the room so we had to buy a couple at the local supermarket Rooms at the bottom rear of the hotel are quite dark and face the car park, there are some nice trees in a garden area before the car park. We paid 7 euros a day for air con and 3 euros a day for a full sized fridge, which, as you can read on previous reviews, you simply plug in. The tax was only 50 cent a night as its a 2 star hotel. The breakfast was cartons of orange or apple juice, sliced bread with a toaster, a selection of jam/honey, yogurt, sices of ham and cheese, slices of tomato and cucumber, corn flakes, sliced cake, some days fried and some days boiled eggs. A very basic breakfast, and we did bore of it but perfectly adequate. I think the main issue that we had with this hotel was the noise, the planes flew a lot later at night and earlier in the morning than we remembered from our previous visit to Zante, around 11pm and then again at 5am, as you are so close to the run way it's loud. The hotel also has some chickens in the back, with a turkey that swarks anytime from 3am - 6am. Unfortunately for us, we also had some terribly noisy guests sharing the hotel with us returning at 2am slaming doors and shouting down the corridors. (Not the hotels fault) The pool area was nice, on a few afternoons, my partner and I had the pool to ourselves. We ate once from the snack bar and the food was good. The location is good with a short walk up to main street and a slightly longer one down to the beach.
Vanessa Hotel

We stayed here for 11 nights and was really happy we chose this place. When we first got there I was a bit worried about how close to the main road we was, but it really didn’t effect us at all. It’s in a great central location. Rooms are basic, as always in Greece so this wasn’t a problem, but very spacious and cleaned every other day. Beds changed, fresh towels. The kitchen was was adequate, mind you I was surprised that a toaster wasn’t standard but the hotel happily lent me one for the duration of my stay for the kids breakfast. Everyone was very friendly and always willing to help. The pool area was good, especially having the separate Childrens pool with slide. My husband was slightly disappointed having seen reviews and pics about a pool table as that has now been removed. The bar / restaurant area was run by a nice team and the food we had was nice, we used it several times during our stay, one of which was their Greek night and that was packed and a real good night. We will defo return to Kalamaki and will come back to the Vanessa.
Yria Hotel

I didn’t expect Zhadao to be so hot. The entire Greek tour hotel was very well booked. In addition to the selection of several houses in Zhadao, I saw that this house also had a three-person room. I decided to have a public transportation. We did not see any public transportation. The car rental came out from the station and saw the taxi with the driver. It was clear to the driver that it was 10 minutes before turning left and right. It was a little old but the equipment was still full of flowers on the window sill. Good-looking also makes the hotel very conspicuous. It is very good to find the variety of breakfasts that go to the door every time. It’s a pity that I only eat one day. The next morning, I’ll go to the plane one night in advance and the front desk grandfather asks if I can rent the grandfather. We have a good car. I am still worried about asking him if the driver is not on time to give me a call. I contact the driver. Grandpa said that I don’t have to worry about being on time. I am on the side of the cabin. I don’t come to knock on the door and call me. The next day, the taxi is really punctual. Appeared! Rely on! (By the way, the soft candy at the front desk is really delicious. I still remember it now.) There is a small step opposite the hotel. When you go straight to the sea, you can go to the sea when you are not in the sun. It’s a good time to see a lot of locals walking away. Clothes jumped down and stunned
