I would strongly advise against staying in this hotel. The state of the room itself was unacceptable, with mold in the bathrooms, dirt marks all over the walls, and broken toilet seats etc. Also on numerous occasions there were reports of items of value being taken from our rooms which was left unresolved by the owners. On top of all that, despite the holiday company I stayed with having already paid for our tenancy up until the end of August, when the company shared with the hotel that they would not continue their stay in September, the hotel chose to evict us in the middle of the night by turning off our electricity and locking away our luggage until any and all disputes were resolved, leading to the police to become involved. The only positive I can give for this hotel would be Demitri who worked at the pool bar who always treated us as friends.

Please do not go here. To start the bath was mouldy, the rooms were dirty and never even cleaned to a mediocre standard and some rooms had bed bugs. That’s not even the worst part, they kicked my whole holiday group out for “not paying” even though we had papers to prove otherwise, they also held out suitcases hostage and turned our electricity off. In the end we had to get the police involved which resolved the worst of our situation and we got relocated with our amazing holiday group. The only decent part of this hotel was Dimitri the bartender.

Went on a workers holiday from May-August, staying at Aphrodite hotel. Bad experience from the start… Had my £300 speaker stolen on the first day, hoodie, trousers and €60 (by the cleaners). I raised the issue and was quickly disregarded, as the owners do not care. The cleaners do not clean. They sweep the floors and leave all the mould behind. The hotel owner, Nikos, is so rude and would constantly raise his voice - making people feel so unwelcome. Finally, they kicked us out the hotel and kept our bags hostage. We had to call the police to get this resolved. The only good thing about Aphrodite is Dimitris, the bar man. I do not recommend this hotel at all - book at your own risk.

This hotel is the worst place I have ever stayed in. First off the rooms were disgusting, covered in mould, some of which was painted over by the owners instead of sorting the problem. The place was so dirty and the cleaners would spend more time stealing from guests than doing their job. They stole shoes, clothes, perfume and money from us. They even went as far as breaking into our safe to steal money and we caught them searching through one of our purses. We were too afraid to complain because our friends did and they were screamed at by the owners and were threatened to be kicked out. The owners were horrible and would get aggressive if you tried to complain or ask for anything. Air con is €10 per day but they would turn it off early everytime so that you would never get the full use out of it. If you had food or drink from outside the hotel it was confiscated and you were threatened to be fined or kicked out even though the hotel shop only sold crisps and snacks no real food.

So many hidden costs. Firstly you can’t bring food in, cant bring drinks in and if you want to bring people back it costs 50 euros. All food and drinks must be bought from the overpriced hotel shop and restaurant. We had bed bugs and the owners didn’t change our sheets. They consistently yell and are agressive. The pipes flood the lower balconies. This is not a budget hotel due to all the fees they’ll make you pay for.

La pulizia è stata inesistente. Ho soggiornato per 12 notti e il bagno non è mai stato pulito. La struttura è rumorosa, in quanto vicina alla strada. L'aria condizionata ha un costo aggiuntivo di 10 euro al giorno. Carina la piscina esterna. Molto gentili il ragazzo che lavora nelle ore notturne e il signore con gli occhiali. La signora della reception è apparsa un po’ in difficoltà e confusa: dopo 5 giorni ci ha chiesto di ripagare la tassa di soggiorno, nonostante l’avessimo già pagata al nostro arrivo, precisamente alla stessa signora che ce l’ha richiesta.
