Room felt stuck in the 1980s, with outdated furniture. Shower water was salty, bathroom had no window and the fan didn’t work. Internet was down, parking was tiny, breakfast was the worst I’ve seen, and thin walls made every noise from other rooms impossible to ignore. Not worth the stay.

The hotel staff are so friendly. We had a very comfortable stay. There isn’t much choice of food for breakfast and evening meal. However there are plenty of restaurants near by and the locals are so welcoming. Hotel in great location onto the sea front. Room was also clean.

Awful place.. I rarely make the effort of writing a review but this place has ruined my holiday with my family. It was very expensive and a major disappointment. * In my first room I had no socket next to the bed. * Pools are very small and nearly not enough * We paid for All Inclusive but it hardly feels like that.. the food options are very small and if you want to drink at the bar outside lunch hours you have to pay for most of the things. I went to ask for a CAPPUCCINO and they said that its not included. * Beach has ZERO sunbeds, the sunbeds are a little further from the beach put on a platform with no sand, just dirt. * First night I was put in a room with NO WINDOWS because my initial room "had issues with AC" (my guess is that the room was occupied when I arrived, because right after the cleaning ladies passed it, they switched me in) * Wifi exists but its unusable * TVs are old and even they are "Smart" they do not connect to the network (Some of them even have this option removed to prevent overuse of the Wifi) * AC only works if you shut the blinds * Everything is old, furniture, doors, walls, it feels like they haven't changed anything in 40 years. * We can barely sleep at night because of where the rooms are placed, there's constantly noise outside. * There are no queen/king sized beds, just two single beds put together, but the gap in the middle is huge.

I do not recommend , you pay 4* and you get 2* , very poor quality services . Besides the old look and the doors from the rooms that are only in shape because the sound is as if they are open non stop ,all inclusive is a joke : drinks are only served with a 200 ml plastic cup, including water . The all inclusive bar is at Astir Beach Hotel with program from 11 a.m to 11:00 pm, after this hour you can buy drinks up to 12 . Ice cream is offered only for children up to 12 years old, few snacks . In the evening there is nothing & no program , stay at the terrace as at the wake :) . The first hotel where I was asked to cut my wristband at check out lest we go to the bar to get something 'though we leave anyway .Baths at the pool - horror .Receive to room 1 key , we were 3 persons . Apart from location , hotel located on the beach , I have no positive aspect . I specify that I have knowledge of Hotel 4* in Greece, but this hotel with exigency would be worth 2* .

Seriously worst hotel we have ever stayed in so AVOID ALL COSTS HOTEL IS LIKE A HOSTEL, if you are english and with a family this is not for you. This hotel relies on german and other nationalities and do not cater for the english at all. The rooms are dark gloomy very dated (from the 70s) bathroom had raw sewage coming through the floor (which they did nothing about) and only moved rooms after two very depressing days as hotel was full (had to pay extra 100 euros) even though restaurant wasnt. There was only pool bar which closed at 7pm, no entertainment, food was bland and recycled to next day and staff were rude and very unsupportive. Our bedroom was a double with a garden view.............what we got was a room with three beds squashed in and you couldnt walk around room and the view was overhanging carpark with not a tree or grass in sight and very close to noisy bars and restaurants.

Even though we booked last minute, the partial sea view was a bit disappointing. Laganas is known for it's thriving night life for younger people and if you are looking for a peaceful family vacation it is definitely not a good choice. The sun-beds around the pool are free but those on the beach were around 7€ a pair. Since our flight was later in the evening and we checked out around noon, we were owed lunch and dinner because we payed the all inclusive fee in advance. We did not receive it, with an explanation that they don't give out any lunch packages nor did anyone ask for them. It was surprising to us because it is very common (in Greece) that if you pay for the meals in advance you have to get them, in lunch packets or in money. For the 4 of us, the surcharge for all inclusive was around 100€. The reception staff weren't billing to meet our requirements. The food was decent, the all inclusive drinks and ,,food'' were disappointing. Few water-downed sodas and sandwiches were what you get at the bar of the hotel next to Astir Palace. Water dispensers were only available during meals in the restaurant or in the bar, since the tap water is not drinkable. Rooms were clean, there was occasionally some noise from the young British mates but all in all, pretty disappointing experience.

I had an emergency night here due to a jet2 plane issue. It was very dated. Bed was OK. But decor leaves a lot to be desired. I found it noisy as I guess it's in Laganas which is renowned for clubbing/partying. They did what they could at short notice but the man at reception was abrupt. It was hard on all of us I guess. Breakfast was OK. Jet2 had to fork bill and I'm glad really as I guess I wouldn't have wanted to spend my hard earned cash, I guess it's not for everyone, but lots of other guests seemed happy. It's a great location to beach though and that shouldn't be knocked. I guess it just needs some tlc.

Signs should be put up notifying payment for where to payfor sun beds around the hotel and pool area .Not just some women turn up asking for money .Owner aggressively arguing with staff by the pool cafe as soon as we arrived which we found horrendous and very unprofessional as paying customers don’t want to hear this whilst on their holidays to relax ,hotel very basic 3 star .could do with coffee/tea making facilities in the room ,Food very much catered for German people and not a lot for children ,a lot of people pushing in queues and taking food out of restaurant, beach front location which is really good
