First time in Greece so didn't know what to expect, went there for our 25th wedding anniversary but needn't had worried, on arriving we were greeted with a smile and a friendly atmosphere, room was all ready for us, the food at Keri Village was just amazing plenty to choose from and very tasty, room was large only drawback was the small shower but other than that no concerns, room was cleaned everyday clean towels and fresh bedding, the shuttle bus to the local beach was good once there enjoyed ourselves, we went for a relaxing holiday and that's just what we got, yes the hotel is remote we knew that before we booked, enjoyed every moment there and will definitely be going back. The staff are all great and they all work hard. Came home feeling refreshed.

Wow, what can I say myself and my husband have just returned from a 4 night stay here. We loved every single moment of it, I was slightly concerned after reading the negative reviews as to what we were going to encounter when there but I needn't have worried. Yes the rooms are slightly basic but had all you needed, after all it was just somewhere to sleep, the cleaners cleaned the room and changed the beds daily. My only criticism was the freezing cold pool, it honestly was never warm but again that didn't spoil our time there. The food was lovely and plentiful and a large choice for breakfast, lunch and dinner. All in all it was a lovely, relaxing break for us and just what the doctor ordered, we will return and are planning our next trip.

We have just returned from 14 nights at this resort and I will give our honest review. Never having been to Greece I didn’t know what to expect. The resort is small, clean and ideal for adult couples. Food was fabulous, check out the show cooking section in the restaurant, plenty of choice for all tastes, meat fell apart, BBQ was a bit dry. Breakfast was a bit boring, could do with some pancakes, waffles or crepes as an alternative in the mornings. We ended up skipping breakfast after 4/5 days when the hash browns weren’t available but that was our choice, there were cereals, cold cuts and hot choices available. Catering team were lovely, helpful and friendly. Rooms were a bit dated, but very clean, cleaning team were lovely. I was ill whilst there and the cleaner for our room changed the bed when I had to visit the private clinic as she wanted to make the room nice and clean, not that it was dirty. Pool was very cold, didn’t venture in due to that, “hot” tub wasn’t hot. Pool bar manned and staff were great. The only draw back around the pool was the lifeguard, aptly nicknamed “Doris Gump”, from her dictatorial methods when on the beds near her, which she kept moving her chair towards, her weird stares, her food in a Tupperware container under her table in the heat for 5 hours from lunchtime, her incessant moving of beds and tying ropes to safety devices and beds, playing music and what sounded like chat radio all very irritating not to mention the staring and watching when you were chatting with others, was not relaxing at all when she was around. Oh and telling other guests when anyone said anything at reception which was highly unprofessional. So if you go do not be put off in that corner by her odd behaviour. Receptionists were very helpful and friendly. Entertainment was basic but broke up the week. Shuttle service was fabulous if you wanted to use it. We have booked again thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks, had a giggle.

What can I say about Keri village and spa by Zante plaza….. the pictures on the website and booking sites must have been taken years ago, it’s very dated and rundown now…. Nothing at all like the pictures. DO NOT book this hotel… especially if you expect a HOT shower because you will NOT get one!! Our room didn’t have hot water at all in the shower, so we ended up having to move rooms! But after speaking to ALOT of other guests it’s seems the no hot water was a common thing… espically in the “standard” rooms! Maria hotel receptionist is personable and was helpful when we arrived… however the man who takes over in the evenings is RUDE, unhelpful and would rather sit on his phone than do anything else.. he should not work in customer service or be anywhere near customers. The barman was continually on his phone in the day, again more interested in his FaceTime call than serving the drinks… very poor customer service. The food: plenty to choose from and good quality, could have been warmer but otherwise very good. It’s something this hotel has got right. Pool: clean; tidy; plenty of sunbeds… however the lifeguard lady is weird and doesn’t like people to sit near where she sits. We used the shuttle down the beach twice: was very well organised and on time. Over all, the hotel needs a massive update, and staff overhaul because it falls very far from 4* standards, at best I would give the hotel a 2-3* rating. Unfortunately our stay was not what we had hoped for and we wouldn’t return.

Out favourite place for a September holiday. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful if remote location. We love the intimate, cosy atmosphere and low key entertainment. The staff are hard-working and very attentive. The buffet is small but provides a variety of food day to day. Chef Joe's show cooking is wonderful and the standard of food generally is impressively high. The rooms are clean and comfortable with daily maid service. The bathrooms are dated and could do with a make-over but are very clean. We have already booked to return next September.

Keri Village Hotel is situated on a hilltop and is very remote. If you are someone that likes to retreat into the countryside and like to be isolated, then this is the place for you for that escapism. The views are stunning, panoramic views of the mountainous regions, the neighbouring hilltop village and the sea. There isn't much to do at the hotel other than laze around the pool all day. There are no direct hiking trails if you are feeling adventurous to walk down to the beach. There are direct windy hairpin roads to the beach but I wouldn't say it would be safe to walk up and down it as no footpaths. Plus it would be a trek particularly walking back uphill and in the blazing heat. The hotel runs a courtesy shuttle mini bus however to and from Keri Beach 4 times a day. Hotel pickups are 10am, 1pm, 3pm and 5.30pm. (Return pickups are approx 10.10, 1.10, 3.10 and 5.40). It only seats 8 passengers BUT the accommodating driver will put on additional shuttle runs to and back if there are more passengers. This is a godsend as there are no public transport that goes to the hotel. At Keri Beach there are car, quadbike, bike rentals though so there are options if you are prepared to want to drive or ride. The hotel itself , the accommodation is in chalet type buildings. Our room was basic but spotless. The domestics cleaned rooms with fresh towel changes daily. I would say the room we had requires modernisation to make it like a 4 star. The bathroom was generous in size but the shower was small. The bar area in my opinion requires a total refurbishment . It was somewhat soul-less but has great potential for upgrade investment. There is adequate A/C in the bedrooms and in the bar and restaurant. Food was of relative variety. Breakfast a choice of hot and cold food. Lunch and dinner again a variety. Salad bar, always a meat dish, vegetarian and fish. Then a couple of show cooking selections each day during lunch and dinner. If you are a vegan though, you will struggle and they don't have dairy free milk either. Greek night was one of the best and the bbq night. I would say overall the food was of reasonable quality. As with most A/I, the alcohol is non branded. They serve a selection of cocktails at the pool bar during the day and the indoor bar in the evening. They have beer and wine dispensers but the quality was poor. I stuck with cocktails of which in my opinion some were quite strong. You are provided with plastic bottles in your room on arrival so you can simply fill them up with water in the restaurant or any selection of their soft drinks etc. The filter coffee from the machine wasn't too bad but they also had individual coffee sachets if preferred along with a small selection of teas including herbal. This hotel daily has continued departures and arrivals so there is constantly different guests arriving each day or leaving. We never had any issue of getting a sunbed regardless of time and we didn't see anyon

Just come back from a wonderful week here, very relaxing and enjoyable week away .no issues with rooms, food and surroundings, lovely views and no issues with pool area, although sunbeds could probably do with a update not very comfortable.done the mini bus down to Keri beach one afternoon and a few hours in local bars and nice restaurant, not the ideal place if you want nightlife etc very remote, but that's exactly how the wife and I wanted it.staff were all very well mannered and polite, very relaxing time had .

We went once 6 years ago and have just got back from another lovely week. Perched in the hills overlooking Cameo Island and "Turtle Island" I spent many times on the decking overlooking this incredible view which last time was obscured by the trees, lost to fires since our last visit. Beer in hand, chilling with the view and the calmness of it all. I was more very happy with the food. Normally 2 or 3 meat (always tender) choices as well as a fish option, often baked and very soft. A fresh pasta option and a couple of vegetable options and potatoes. They have recruited well, staff are happy, attentive and engaging. My shower head broke one day and it was replaced the same day. Cretian beer and wine on tap in the dining hall. The red wine was a bit ropey in my opinion but the rose and white, nice enough! The poolside bar serves drinks between 10 x 6 and the bar in the lounge / TV area takes over then until 11. Evening entertainment seemed to be every other night and was a mixture of Greek dancers, fire eaters with feet that could walk on broken glass, a band, DJ and karaoke etc. Wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thank you.
