Terrible experience – avoid this hotel I would strongly advise against staying here. Our experience here was extremely disappointing for several reasons: The hotel moved other people into our room without any prior warning or permission. This was completely unacceptable and felt like a major breach of privacy. The room itself was far too small – only one person could pass by the beds at a time, and the beds were hard and very uncomfortable. There were minimal basic amenities. The hairdryer barely worked, and there was no toaster, no sharp knife, all of which we were told would be provided. The shower had no curtain or door which meant the whole bathroom was soaked after everyone had showered, and hot water was unreliable at best. Air conditioning came at an extra charge of €60 per week and was shockingly bad. To make things worse, the remote and battery was taken while we were sleeping, and we were told we’d need to pay again to use it. Whenever we or other guests raised concerns, the staff were dismissive and even threatened to evict instead of resolving the issues. The receptionist in particular was condescending and unhelpful. The location isn’t ideal – it’s about a 15-minute walk to the top of the ***** and 25 minutes to the main bars and clubs. Walking back at night felt very unsafe (though that’s not the hotel’s fault, just something to note). Only good thing about this place is the bar staff as they are lovely and make great drinks, also ordered us taxis whenever needed and gave advice on where else to visit on the island Overall, this hotel is poorly run. There are plenty of other options in the area – I would recommend staying anywhere else to avoid the stress and poor treatment we experienced here.
