We are just on our last night at the Margarita Hotel, we have had a fantastic holiday and the Hotel is fantastic value for money. Close enough to the main ***** but also far enough away. We upgraded to the superior room and we were lucky enough to get 2 ground floor poolside rooms (Family of 4 Mum, Dad and 2 teenagers) Staff checked daily to ensure the Superior pool was only used by guests with superior rooms and we watched a few people have to do the walk of shame, having said that the other 2 pools were good but just a little dated in comparison, only because the Superior Rooms and Pool are a new addition to the Hotel. The all inclusive food was excellent and very tasty with plenty of choice. Antonios the Owner with his family and staff were all very pleasant and happy to help and serve. Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner were all excellent. Snack Food from the pool bar was also good and fresh as you order. Wine, Beer and Soft drinks are served all day and then from 4pm Cocktails and local spirits are served. Overall a great value stay at the Margarita with the small additional cost of an upgrade to Superior Room was well worth it in my opinion. They also have rooms with private pools which looked nice, but I feel the superior rooms offer best value. Thank you Antonios, your family and all your staff.

We stayed from 26th August for one week. On arrival at 8:58pm we were told the restaurant closed at 9pm, leaving us no time to eat before heading up to our room. In most hotels even when half-board never mind all inclusive, you’re usually offered something on arrival if you’ve missed dinner, but unfortunately this wasn’t the case here. Not a huge issue, but a little disappointing as we had paid for that day. The hotel itself was clean and the staff were friendly. However, if you enjoy evening entertainment, this may not be the right choice. The bar closes promptly at 11pm, after which the lights are switched off, leaving the area in complete darkness, so if you’re planning to play cards or socialise, make sure you finish before then. Food was fine overall; we always found something to eat, though it wasn’t particularly varied. A downside was that beer and wine were only available until 4pm, which felt quite restrictive. Other points worth mentioning: the hotel does not provide towels for freshening up before late transfers, which we found unusual. On two occasions during our stay the shower ran cold, though we managed. Overall, we had a pleasant holiday, but in our opinion this hotel feels closer to a good two-star plus rather than the higher rating advertised.

Staff lovely, food lovely. Rooms very clean. In a very quiet area but can walk 5 minutes into the town area. Would definitely come back again.

Just returned on Sunday from the hotel, from Arriving to departing the hotel they made you feel like part of the family. Every single member of the staff were so nice and friendly and friendly. We stayed in a private pool room and was worth the money for the upgrade, would highly recommended these rooms, we had the sun on the balcony from 10am until 6pm so would spend the morning at the adults pool and move to the room for 10am. The hotel is small so it don’t take long to walk around the complex, right outside the hotel there is a supermarket with everything you would need and even the staff in the supermarket were so nice and friendly. Drinks were local spirits, from 10-4 they only do soft drinks, beers and wines then from 4pm you can have spirits and cocktails, we knew this prior to coming due to other reviews. Food was really nice, lots of the vegetables are grown within the hotel so they were nice and fresh. As a small hotel they don’t have rows and rows for food choice but the food they put out was really nice and different variety each night. Could always find something to eat and it was tasty as well. Pool bar (snacks) again plenty to choose from. Entertainment is low key and is down at the pool bar however this was fine for us as it was nice to have back ground noise and still able to chat to each other or just relax and watch the world go past. The hotel is located about 10 mins from the main party ***** but it’s down a side road so it’s away from all the noise. It’s all on the flat and easy to walk into Laganas ***** with plenty of bars and restaurants. If you want to go to Kalamaki it’s about 50 mins walk again all on the flat, or 12-15 euros in a taxi (walking is fine as there is a path the whole way and 40 mins into the walk if you like plane spotting then stop of at the Airport snack bar that has a viewing point. We ate out a few times and enjoyed the food at the Taj Mahal (Indian) Isabella (Greek and they have a great show best booking) and Cicero (Greek) had a lovely lunch in here and staff so nice and welcoming. In Kalamaki we had drinks and food in Rose and Crown, they give you a card for a free drink after you have 6 drinks. Would highly recommend the hotel and will definitely return in the future

After 25 years visiting Margarita for our holidays we never get tired of the same surroundings and people. There have been many changes to the hotel bringing it more up to date leaving the old greek behind but keeping its charm. The whole hotel is extremely clean and well Maintained. Anything that you may find out of place if reported to reception is sorted by one of the team. The food is exceptional, freshly prepared, vegetables are fresh from the hotel gardens. Pools and all areas outside are maintained and cleaned daily There is plenty of time to drink alcohol within the times that the bars are open. If guest want more during the days ,shops are close enough where bottles can be purchased. I must add that the addition of the massage studio at the back pool is a great addition Loka is excellent. We love this hotel and its staff and we will return yearly, or more for as long as we can. Well done to all at Margarita for another beautiful holiday.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel and it is not all inclusive. Only wine and beer can be consumed before 4pm no spirits and the ice cream at the pool is only available for 2 hours per day. The rooms on the website are the rooms in the suites, these are the only rooms that have sunbeds outside on their patio and they are the only people that have access to the 3 pools that the hotel boasts of having. There is one family pool that has a tiny square in one corner that is suitable for very young children and one adults only pool, neither of them have easy access or exit, no walk in facility. The entire hotel is not suitable or anyone with mobility issues, the reception on arrival is at the top of a flight of stairs and nobody assists you with your cases so be prepared to lift them. Food is very repetitive and not great quality but if you enjoy salad you will be fine. No Pool towels are provided, the adult only pool does not have a pool bar, you have to use the main bar at reception. The bottled water that they pour out for you at the bar is filled from the tap, if you want water with your meal you have to queue at the the bar for it. Both main bar and pool bar have one person serving in them so be prepared to wait. Towels are meant to be changed every 2nd day but we had to ask for ours to be changed after 3 days and then after 5 days we had to phone reception again for towels as they took them away but did not replace them. The entertainment in this hotel is poor, and nothing at all for kids at night. Entertainment is at the side of the family pool and starts at 9pm and finishes at 11pm sharp. The bar is only open from 9.30pm to 11pm at night so you have to get your fist drinks from the reception bar and carry them round to the family pool. When the entertainment finishes they turn the lights out even if people are still sitting at tables finishing drinks or chatting. This certainly was not a 4 star experience and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Just returned from 2 weeks at this hotel family of 4 with twins aged 10. Special thank you to VS and Sylvia (pool bar) for making our holiday. they work so hard and yet are always welcoming, engaging, and friendly. VC will actually remember your name and drinks choice! Both are cracking staff members. Next is a big up to Hope (hotel bar) again, so hardworking yet always smiling and engaging thank you Hope. We are well travelled and I have to say never did we que at meal times or at the bar although at evening meal time the main bar will be 5 mins at 2000hrs. Rooms were always clean and tidy. Although the family pool is a bit small, we found it OK. We never struggled for our 2 sunbeds even when we went done after 0900, although you do get those that insist on reserving with towels early on...the beach is about 7min walk. All in all, we loved our stay...yes, it's close to the *****... We knew that, and there were noticeably more young groups appearing even though its against hotel policy. Recommend Captain Morgains pub just down the road for Milkshakes your kids will be amazed. The hotel shop has everything you need and is same price as anywhere open till 2300 so handy.
