Hotel room was nice clean and tidy, we had a side sea view, the room standard similar to a Premier inn or Holiday Inn Express. Room came with TV, hair dryer, tea coffee and kettle along with toiletries. We were all inclusive, the food was very good although some people might find the variety is lacking, ie no decafs coffee, limited varieties of bread, some repitition on main dishes limited fast food, which I didn’t have a problem with. Food supplied out of dinning time ie pickers limited to two trays of pizzas, burgers and wraps and ice cream, nothing else, for all inclusive I would have expected more day time pickers. You get the feeling the hotel is playing at all inclusive, by providing the absolute minimum. Wine on tap was ok along with the beer, the bar area was small and in the small dinning room where the food serving area is. There was a small covered dinning area between the two dinning rooms and further dinning area outside. All internal areas became very crowded when the weather was poor, more like a cattle market, there were no soft seating areas apart from the dinning rooms which didn’t contain any soft seating. The only other sitting areas were around the pool and two other covered shade areas close to the sea I think the pool is a little small, but there were smaller pools for toddlers, which seemed safe and well used The staff were very helpful and polite and worked hard, they seemed very pleasant people As for it being 4 star, no it’s a 3 star hotel, there are no other facilities apart from a very small games area, mainly or children and an outside play area. The animation if you can call it that was very poor with nothing on during the day and the evening stuff was again held in the little area between the two dinning rooms, very poor. But all in all the hotel was nice, its grounds go onto the beech and there are walks both ways, in general a nice hotel and nice scenic walks Mainly though the hotel fails for a 4 star over its lack of facilities, but as a 3 star it’s more than acceptable, just don’t expect luxury, because it’s not there
