White Olive Elite Laganas

Stayed here for a week and it was so lovely. Amazing room (paid extra for the swim up upgrade when we arrived). Staff were so friendly, attentive and could not do any more to help. Food was fresh and spot on for the star rating. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommend.

We booked this hotel with High hopes. And I can say apart from the location it was very underwhelming. Firstly the location was absolutely perfect just off the main drag, far enough away that you are not in the middle of the *****, but close enough to walk to everything, the beach is a 2 minute walk and all the bars, clubs and restaraunts are within a 10 minute walk. We only ate one meal in the hotel (lunch time) to see how it was, and we was very disappointed with the random choice and not very tasteful food, it seems like they just closed their eyes and opened the fridge and whatever they grabbed was for dinner, no coordination in the food just bits of differant random cuisines thrown together. We ate out every meal due to this and felt like we had wasted money on all inclusive. There is 1 bar that is open late but didn't really have much going on, we saw entertainment there one night out of the 7 and was lucky to even hear back ground music as we walked past, and again felt the need to go out to the local bars and clubs every night. The day time entertainment was also much to be desired with the odd game of water hand ball going on in 1 of the 4 pools. The pools are all smaller then expected and not very deep and could easily get very crowded. They also closed the pools and the pool bar at 7pm which seemed reall5 early. We are lucky we had funds to go out for every meal/evening and was planning on trips every day and so on, but if you was to book an all inclusive and expect to stay in the hotel and be wowed by cuisine and entertainment, this may not be the hotel for you.

We got married in Zante in August. We stayed for two weeks at the White Olive Elite, accompanied by 50 of our guests. Not one of our friends or family could fault the hotel. Our wedding day was of course so magical, but the lengths the staff went too to make our time away so magical was incredible. I could have asked the staff for the moon and the stars and they would have tried their absolute best to get it for us!! Sira and the front of house team were amazing. The food, the drinks, the facilities 5/5 no question. We’ve booked to come back this coming August for our anniversary and we will be visiting the white olive elite every year for our anniversary without hesitation. The hotel was immaculate, the room was cleaned to such a high standard every day. The hotel is amazing but the staff really make it is amazing as it is! Everything is really local, 5 minutes to the beach, 2 minutes to the shop and a short walk to the *****. Honestly, our wedding abroad wouldn’t have been what it was without the staff at White Olive. Since our wedding, two of our family and friends have booked to get married in Zante, needless to say I’ve advised them to book their hotel at White Olive Elite!! Thank you for looking after us and all of our family and friends. I hope that the white olive chain know just how lucky they are to have the hard working, caring staff that they have at the Elite in LAGANAS ♥️

Stayed here for a week in June with a friend. Lovely modern hotel, very clean. Has 3 pools. Rooms were nice and spacious with a fridge. The housekeepers cleaned the rooms daily. Hotel staff were friendly. Food was typical of an all inclusive - quite repetitive but enough choice that you could always find something to eat. The hotel location is great as it’s away from the ***** so it is quiet, but a short enough walk to the beach/bars/restaurants! The only thing I found disappointing was that the only place you could get an alcoholic drink (other than wine or beer, which you could get from the restaurant), was at the pool bar, and this was only open 10:00-19:00. Would have been nice to be able to sit outside and have a few drinks in the night. Would still recommend this hotel to others though!

Restaurant and bar staff were very friendly and helpful and the all inclusive drinks had a good variety. The food was horrific - barely edible, always cold and did not look appetising. I ate salad all week. The rooms were very basic, definitely not 5star, beds uncomfortable and they were not properly cleaned all week. The shower flooded so we had to put towels by the bathroom door to prevent the water gaining access to the rest of the room.

The hotel was perfect, the food was delicious. Great atmosphere, vacation in this hotel in Zakynthos was unforgettable. And I have to praise the hotel manager, a very kind, pleasant person who smiles every day. We would very much like to come back here again sometime.
