White Olive Elite Laganas

Stayed here end of May/beginning of June and can’t really fault it. The reviews had me concerned before going/after booking, but can honestly say our experience was fantastic. A huge range of all inclusive drinks (including cocktails), rooms cleaned often - our room itself was spacious, with no complaints there. The all inclusive buffet was a little smaller than I have experienced in the past but it was fine - I personally don’t think the food was cold, we did always go down just for the beginning of dinner so that might have helped? But they have a large variety and daily fries and pasta etc if you’re a picky eater. I’m fairly adventurous so tried a lot of dishes I hadn’t before and thoroughly enjoyed. Bar staff were lovely. It was a bit quiet at night except for the two nights there was entertainment, and the all inclusive does finish at 11 which seemed early to me. But other than that, it was reasonable. Perhaps not a 5 star by a lot of standards, but for Laganas I thought it was good!

Just returned from a week in White Olive Elite Laganas. Amazing Hotel, so modern, rooms lovely, spotlessly clean everywhere. Only a short walk to more entertainment bars and restaurants. People need to mention who helped us have a great fun time, would be Panos, Alexandra, Tamir, and Milena from the pool bar, great fun people. Constructive criticism: Maybe more evening entertainment, Food sometimes only lukewarm. Other than that, we will be returning next year, definitely a 5-star.

Can’t fault the hotel as a whole good staff good service. Room was a good size and clean. Pool was a good size and was good to have. Sun loungers were always free and had no need to get down and reserve them early. Had no issues with the hotel as an overall however definitely not a 5 star experience.All inclusive drinks had a limited variety and larger menu for your typical cocktails to pay for. Snack area had the same food everyday no real variety however came out very hot unlike the main meals. The food was cold 95% of the time even if you waiting for the food to come out fresh and it meant that we wasn’t able to enjoy it and was eating out most nights. When paying for all inclusive as a younger couple we was a bit disappointed that we had to this and don’t expect to need to do it considering it is 5-star. Definitely not catered for kids very limited and majority is catered for vegetarians. Entertainment is very minimal and only on tuesdays and Saturdays for 2 hours however was good when it was on.

Can’t faults the hotel at all. Lovely service all staff bar one lady in the restaurant was lovely and kind. Cocktails included in all inclusive menu and hotel location is perfect if you want best of both worlds. ***** is located about 15-20 mins walk away and there is small corner shops close to the hotel. Beach is about 7 min walk. All inclusive is good a lot of vegetarian options available that are filling. Only think was the snack bar u had to order like a cafe rather than a buffet style.

What an amazing hotel. Was a little apprehensive as we were never in Greece before but we were not disappointed. The hotel is modern, clean and the staff are amazing. We went all inclusive and the selection of food was super. Something for everyone. Special mention for Alexandra and Olga who looked after us very well by the pool. The hotel is also very well located to Airport, beach and the main *****. Will definitely return again

I really struggle with reviews to find all the info I need so hopefully this will help someone. Overall - not a 5 star, not great for families but great for couples. Food abysmal. The hotel appears nice but technology has taken over a little too much for them to handle. Checkin was simple although we went with jet 2 and they rate it a 4 star so was expecting to pay €10 per night however the hotels official rating it 5 star so was €15 per night for the greek tax. Room - the room was very clean and had a nice selection of toiletries. We had a family room which had 2 singles and a huge king size with the comfiest pillows ever. The only divide between us and the kids was a sliding door with glass panels so absolutely no privacy. We had a land view on the bottom floor. Unfortunately this meant trees literally infront of the balcony so couldn't see anything. Before unpacking we noticed the air-conditioning in the kids part of the room wasn't working so I went to the reception. They tried to restart and was told if it didn't work there was nothing they could do. It didn't work so I asked them to move us which they did, I was shown to a room with another land view on the 2nd floor, this view was a huge puddle with commercial bins sat in it, so asked for another or a pool view. Was shown to another room with the sliding door missing so off to another room we went. This was fine but if you go for a view I really wouldn't as we got what the hotel described as a river (more swamp) but we survived. The only other issue with the room was the noise from outside. The doors didn't keep any noise out. The hotel isn't situated in the best lace and was very noisy from traffic, wildlife, people and bin men from 5.30am onwards. The only app on our tv that worked was YouTube which after a power cut on the third day stopped working so all we had was the news. I did notice that all of the tvs around the hotel weren't working after the power cut either. Pool - pool is on the smaller side. The kids pool is more of a baby pool as it's smaller than an average paddling pool. The medium pool doesn't seem child friendly. The biggest pool was more for families (the few that was there) but prepare for grumpy elderly people who sit around the edge of the pool but don't want to be splashed. Food - a lot of reviews complain about the food and God I wish I had listened. I know all inclusive isnt the best but this was the worst we have ever been to. The food is cold and other than 2 of the nights all the meats were in sauces that were horrible and again cold. They did not cater for kids in the slightest other than 1 night when they had nuggets and fish fingers and they were absolutely disgusting the meat in the nuggets was dark brown. Location - nice little walk to the beach and restaurants thank God as we ate out a few days. I wouldn't return to this hotel mostly down to the food. It was a big let down for 5 star.
