Exotica Hotel & Spa by Zante Plaza

We have stayed here 3 years in a row and as always we’ve had the best hotel .. the food is really nice and always something for everyone ( even the fussy eaters ) the pool is lush with a life guard there all day every day . Alexis the life guard is really good , he may seem like he’s being the fun police but he’s just keeping our children safe!! He’s amazing guy and goes above and beyond .. the pool bar is really good and must say Elsa is just the best! We have known her 3 years now and she makes us feel so welcome , my son absolutely adores her :) there is a family of cats at the hotel and as much as I’m not a cat person I adored them they didn’t bother you unless you wanted them too, if they was in the restaurant the staff with take them outside, lots of people feed them and care for them daily which is lovely to see . My fav was ouzo the little black kitten ‍⬛.. the sun bed situation is like any other hotel, but they are getting more sun beds so itl be easier for people to get a bed :) would like to thank Elsa, Alex and the bar man ( forgot his name ) for a lovely holiday. The reception staff are always friendly and welcoming x x

Arrived for our 5th year at exotica, my family and I love this hotel, the staff, food, pool area, rooms are 100%, i cannot recommend this hotel enough I want to especially mention Mary on reception, always a smile, friendly and very welcoming 😁I requested a ground floor room as I struggle with stairs and Mary did not disappoint me, anything you ask of her will always be done and nothing is too much trouble keep doing what your doing Mary ur a fabulous asset to the hotel ❤️ I also want to mention Elsa (pool bar) another member of staff that always has a smile and goes above and beyond love u Elsa ❤️ All the staff there are fabulous it really makes your stay here enjoyable and memorable Certainly keeps me and my family coming back year after year! So in a nutshell zante plaza owners (if u read this) your staff are a credit to u and your hotel If anyone is in doubt about booking this hotel please don’t be you u will not be disappointed 😁 Once again thank you for everything you have all done

Got here Saturday and as always lovely Mary at reception was so lovely and changed our room for us to a ground floor due to me having a broken back thank you so so much lovely mary. Lovely staff can not do enough for us and elsa at the bar is amazing. Xxx see you next year

Hotel rooms were clean and cleaned each day, staff were helpful but was not enough of them which meant cleaning pool area, bar and restaurant was neglected, was a mess a lot of the time Most of the sun beds were broken and was not enough for the size of the hotel. Worse part was the last day had to be out by 10am and our pick up was at 6pm. We were only could use a toilet which was shared by so many people and simply disgusting not cleaned none of the doors were lockable and no toilet roll at all, we had to ask for this. Awful for us all on the last day. This is not a 4 star hotel and not a family hotel, it's a lads holiday hotel

On reading some reviews we were a tad worried about going here ! But wrong we loved it gutted to be home if I’m honest :( I wonder how some people judge as I feel it is just another level of spoiling the good for others. Ok so we arrived there was some confusion over how many of us there were and we were put in a small room with put you up bed but the next morning straight on it once rooms etc were sorted and we were upgraded to a massive one with patio etc it was so lovely so thanx guys only downside was the cleaners could do with rubber wheels lol so noisy very early in the mornings with there trolleys and the noise above the rooms was harsh with scraping chairs all hours rubber feet maybe lol . The food was scrumptious and we’ve put on a ton of weight always something different spoilt for choice , Now the bar man is a grumpy one but understandable being as it’s late season but the lovely Elsa who was always smiling and super lovely well made up for him sorry grumpy bar man my bad She knew exactly what drinks we wanted from day one without asking and made mean cocktails for adults and kids daughter loved that too hubbie misses your skills and your smiles thanx Elsa . Then there was Alexis ,Alex to all the lifeguard which are few and far between in Greece so loved that . Upon reading about said grumpy lifeguard we were again worried but in all honesty that man is a diamond he even taught our daughter who has adhd and sensory processing how to manage and gain confidence in the pool he was attentive and constantly watching for the safety of all so thanx Alexis , we watched children running around the pools etc people need to be more aware of the safety rules as accidents can go bad no fault of him explaining at all ! Even our own lifeguards in the uk deal with things much more harsh . All in all our best holiday yet amazing staff couldn’t do enough for you always happy to help and the place was beautiful what more could you ask for ooh almost forgot it’s brilliant that the planes go right over your heads sounds amazing and doesn’t go on late at night either hope to be back soon missing you all from Carl Char and Harmony in the not so sunny uk
