Hotel Slisko

I stayed at Hotel Slisko for two weeks in total and it was amazing! I feel like ”part of the family” to be honest as everybody in the hotel is very welcoming and heartwarming people. The rooms are very nice and the location is perfect as it is close to the city but at the same time in a very calm place. In the morning you can have a very nice breakfast and in the evening you can enjoy the best pizza in the restaurant and a cold drink, served by the friendliest guys that actually like talking to you and have good sense of humor too! If you go to Zagreb - stay at this hotel! You will not reget it!

Maksimir
Just spot on from cleanliness, design, indeed felt luxury, in past visited high end hotels like esplanade and the truth is this is mini me of that 🤣, great ppl family owned, Damir one of the owners was so kind to help me and guide through my stay whatever needed. Center is 10 min away walking , yet you are in very quiet area you can have a great sleep, breakfast included and to not forget you have mini spa. Everyday you just need to let them know before going out if you need any extra towels or sheets , it would be done in a giff, for the price I recommend this place to anyone.

Maksimir
The hostel is quite big, and the rooms are wide and spacious. I like the fact that each room has its own bathroom! It's located close to the city center and just very few minutes walk-distance to the Maksimir Park. The atmosphere in the hostel, it has a CBD bar annexed that has a super relaxed vibe and the staff from both the hostel and the bar are very welcoming, specially the recepcionist Eva, who went beyond her reach to help me solve some problems and doubts I had when I arrived in the city. I had an amazing stay there, I would reccomend it to anybody.

From Zagreb station, take the tram 2 or 6 and the stop is not painful if you get off at the Zagreb bus station. This is good if you want to take advantage of the Zagreb bus station. There is no breakfast (you can procure it because there is a 24-hour bakery at the bus station), but you can substitute it because there is a kettle and a pack of tea and coffee and sticks. Instant soup and cup noodles are also good at the supermarket. Wi-Fi is strong and stress-free. There is air conditioning so you can deal with the heat of summer or off-season. The facilities are brand new so you can spend very cozy.
Hotel 9

Small and sophisticated boutique hotel, across the street from the bus terminal, even if you drag the suitcase, it is not tiring for five minutes. Although all of them are more than a dozen rooms, the room is full of etro for shampooing. The breakfast is also unambiguous, the white tablecloths must be changed, the neat tableware and delicious food, the service staff with gloves is very professional.
DoubleTree by Hilton Zagreb
4.5/5120 Reviews
Hilton DoubleTree is our favorite place in Zagreb (and the region), easily proved true on this visit as well. Its stylish yet comfortable vibe, friendly staff, mouth-watering a la carte restaurant, modern perfectly maintained building with great views, and above all its incredible pool and sauna at the top floor, all combine to produce a perfect visitor experience. We enjoyed ourselves and were sad that we could not extend our trip to stay longer this time. Its value for money is also great, with huge and meticulously maintained rooms available for 60-70% of the price of more famous but overrated Zagreb hotels. We have been here twice already and will definitely try to make it an annual tradition.
