We tried different accommodations in Zagreb, but we liked the newly opened art'otel Zagreb the best. It has a great, enveloping atmosphere, also thanks to the friendliness, competence and presence of the staff. A successful design concept - a sophisticated mix of design and art - consistently runs through the entire hotel. Also the rooms and bathrooms (!). Simply great! The rich and fresh breakfast buffet, supplemented by an extra menu, is well prepared and really delicious. For relaxation there is a spa area with sauna and pool (which we used several times) and the bar. Everything is super clean and well maintained. Coming soon there will also be a promising restaurant and a rooftop bar with views of Zagreb. We're already looking forward to the next time!

The location is great. You can go shopping right away! Although the hotel is relatively old, it is very clean. The room is filled with the smell of soap as soon as you enter! There are not many types of breakfast, you can order bread, ham, eggs and a small amount of fruit! Overall not bad

Excellent restaurant the meal quality and presentations beautiful and the attention to the guest makes the best place to eat in Zagreb. The Restaurant Capitan did an excellent recommendation of of the menu main dishes. I ask for soup as entrance. was pumpkin cream made with 3 different kind of pumpkins and on the top roasted pumpkins seeds, delicious. We ate Octb. 9 at 7pm. The Captain was extremely courteous as well the waitress. This hotel also have a breakfast Buffett.

We were overwhelmed with the space, design and comfort of this little home. The hosts were like family from the first minute till we left. The proximity to downtown ( less than 10 min walk) made our visits n dropping home so easy. The big windows brought in the gorgeous sun light in the space. Though in a Main Street, it was utterly quiet. Zagreb is a safe place to visit and a heaven for the foodies and party sceners!! Once you come here, you will always return. Good location close to the main square and large shady park. It's a very busy street but this room was on the back side and quiet, they may not even have any rooms on the street side. This was a private room with a double bed and shared bath. Shared bath was small where the sink is but shower is roomy. Always was clean, and shared by only a couple of rooms. Didn't see the dorm rooms. There are also private rooms with private bath offered. At the time of this visit an organized breakfast wasn't offered but cold cereal and fruit was available 24/7 in the common kitchen, and instant coffee 24/7. The espresso machine required a staff member to operate and the desk isn't staffed except during the day generally. There's a sitting area with couch and chair and a dining area with tables and chairs. There was no air conditioner in this room and it was unusually hot in Zagreb during the stay. At night with the windows open it was comfortable, but very warm otherwise in the room during the day. Very nice owners.

The hotel is pretty good in terms of value for money, but one thing is that booking early is not necessarily cheaper. I checked the room price on the day of check-in, and it was more than 100 yuan cheaper than what I booked in advance. In addition, if you drive to check in, you must communicate during check-in. Well, although Ctrip stated that parking at this hotel is free, the front desk will tell you that it will charge 16 euros a day. Fortunately, after repeated communication with the front desk, we finally did not ask me to pay the parking fee, but it would be a waste of time. The hotel breakfast was average. , drive to the old city attractions about three or four kilometers away.

The best thing about this hostel is the price. Staff were nice and cooperative. Location (in terms of distance to attractions) is also good as it is a few minutes walk of the main square, While the location of the hostel itself to be reached is confusing as the hostel is located inside a closed compound-like building/blocks with the only entry/exit from the compound is far in front of the reception of the hostel with no signs in the main road/street or the exterior of the compound to show the direction to the hostel! Disliked: I stayed in a 4-bed room. My room had a 2 separate beds and 1 bunk bed. My bed was the upper bunk bed and unlike the rest of the beds, I didn't have my own power outlet near to my head and I had to use the one below the level of my bed. This was annoying and I couldn't use my mobile while charging it because the power slot was far. Men toilets were OK but the showers were not! There was no single wall hanger/hook to hang your towel and clothes while taking a shower and no shelf to keep your toiletries on while showering! Only one small split AC unit in the room which was not effective in that very hot weather of July 2022!

As soon as we arrived the hotel. We were greeted by a friendly staff . We arrived early and they could manage to early check in for us . We need to wait for around half hour to have a room ready. We got a offer for coffee while we were waiting. From checked in to checked out , we had all friendly and professional staffs to help us . They recommended a few wonderful restaurants that the foods were delicious . Room is big and very good lighting . Room is clean and good house keeping . My husband had a few visits to a the bar and cigar lounge , he said was good . I had a massage with a Thai lady and enjoyed so much .

We were so looking forward to spending our last night in Croatia at this historic hotel. Upon arrival, we were greeted right away by the concierge, who took our bags and shown to a seat for checking in. Surprisingly, the young girl at reception was abrupt and indifferent, while we did notice that all the other reception clerks were engaged and friendly. We had booked a Superior King Room, and requested an upper floor with a view, but were disappointed to be given a 2nd floor interior room. That said, we certainly understand that not all room requests can be accommodated and the room was quite lovely. Unfortunately, however, there was a wedding reception in the hotel's ballroom that evening, which our room overlooked, and the dance music continued into the early hours of the morning, 3:30am. Other than getting very little sleep that night the room was beautiful, with a large washroom, and a king bed with comfortable pillows. We appreciated the thoughtful addition of glasses (beer, champagne and wine) and a corkscrew. The location was perfect for visiting the charming old town of Zagreb, and we enjoyed a drink at the bar as well as coffee on the lovely terrace the following morning. We didn't have time for breakfast, but it looked wonderful. Our checkout was a much more pleasant experience, with a very friendly reception clerk. I would recommend to anyone wishing to stay at this hotel to ask about events booked in the ballroom, or to insist on an outside view room. Note that we stayed on a Saturday, which would typically be the night for wedding receptions.
