We had a wonderful trip. A very competent driver led us through the desert showing us animals and landscapes until we got to a very comfortable camp among the dunes. At sunset we had an unforgettable camel drive. The accommodation and the food were great. An experience we greatly recommend.

My daughter and I stayed 2 nights at ATTA Desert Camp and our time there was by far one of our top highlights of our trip. Everything - the drive out, the beautiful surroundings, the warm and welcoming staff, the tasty food, and the surprisingly luxurious facilities of camp - truly exceeded our expectations. It was even more than we had dreamed a trip to the Sahara to be, and we're really grateful to everyone involved with ATTA camp for giving us such treasured memories.

We had a great time at the desert camp: great location, big dunes with few tourists, phantastic crew, best food we had in Morocco and not to mention the stars at night... We would also recommend to stay at least for two nights to make the most of your stay. Thanks so much for an unforgettable experience!

We had the most magical visit to ATTA desert camp and our only regret is that we could not stay longer. We arranged a tour with Amazing Journeys (reviewed separately). It was a long and bumpy ride to get there but the changing desert was fun to watch and upon arrival everything was perfect. We opted for the luxury camp as it was predicted to be cold and the rooms are more insulated and worked out great (the private bathroom was nice too). Hussein was the most welcoming and fun host and was happy to help with any need! Service with a smile was never more true. The food and tea were absolutely amazing and served in the most beautiful spots around camp. A sunset camel ride was arranged and enjoyed. We tried sand boarding some success. There were only 2 other guests in camp but our guide Said and Hussein didn’t hesitate to built a fire, get out the drums and soon we were all clapping along to their Berber beats! We learned that tea cups tapped on the tray can be the perfect accompaniment to the drums - nice party trick Said! We laughed, we tried to play the instruments and we admired the amazing stars and slept like babies in our comfy bed. And While ATTA camp and the team were amazing, the desert is the real star of the show and I feel so fortunate to have experienced it even for a short visit!

3 Day/2Night ATTA desert camp Feb 13-Feb 15 Marrakesh-Erg Chegaga-RAK Overall, this was definitely the highlight of our trip to Morocco. The 3 day/2night tour with 1 night experience at the camp at Erg Chegaga was absolutely wonderful 5/5! From start to finish, Lahsen, Julia and their team were super responsive, and took care of everything!! My friend and I opted for the more secluded Erg Chegaga vs. Erg Chibba options and are so glad we did. It is well worth the additional drive across the dessert (~2.75hrs), as the dunes are higher and more spread out in area and there are less people here! Definitely 5/5 stars for overall experience, thanks to this superb team! From a simple courtesy text from our driver-guide (Said) the evening before our tour, to the follow up that we made our flights to our next destination, it was all seamless. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Key highlights of tour include: -Day 1: Our expert driver:guide Said, instantly made us feel comfortable and welcome as we left our Riad in Marrakesh, and smoothly had us on our way, leaving the traffic of Marrakesh behind. Sharing the right amounts of information, and answering our questions about a myriad of items related to Morocco culture and languages of arabic, berber, french, spanish and italian; we practiced them interchangeably along the way. -Itinerary Schedule: was just right for Day 1, with key attractions along the way, finishing up with night 1 at a beautiful riad with delicious dinner and traditional Berber music around the outdoor fire after. Day 2: Again the right amount of places to visit before the amazing drive across the desert to arrive at ATTA camp. No GPS needed to guide us, as Said selected the right sand tracks to arrive at our camp about 2.75 hrs later! Impressive! -AMAZING WELCOME at camp by Hussein our camp “concierge” (my term!) of delicious mint tea after our multi hour drive across the desert, and later after a DELICIOUS LUNCH of lamb kofta (how does one create such deliciousness in the arid simplicity and beauty of the Sahara desert??), a camel ride to a dune to begin our observation of the spectacular and breathtaking sunset! Our camp was truly a little oasis of secluded privacy, delicious traditional cuisine and copious quantities of mint tea, and stellar service and ambiance by our three hosts of Said, Hussein and Chef ?. ☀️ Sunset viewing for over an hour perched atop a dune as our own private and peaceful observation point. 🐪Camel ride to and from above activity by a local berber, who waited patiently while we ran down the dunes, etched “❤️” in the dune and watched and soaked in the sand and sunset. Truly stunning!! Word or pictures don’t do it justice. ⛺️ Return to camp and the hosting continued by our wonderful driver/guide, Said and our camp concierge and assistant cook, Hussein. The service and food /mint tea were absolutely outstanding, worthy of a Sultan or King/Queen. ✨: Stargazing here was amazing, as sky was like a canvas full of stars and

We had a really good trip to Erg Chegaga with the Atta Desert Camp. The trip went very smoothly with our driver who picked us up in Marrakesh and brought us safely forth and back. We had a great time visiting Ait Ben Haddou on the way to the desert. The camp itself was really nice, we had it to ourselves during the two nights we spent there and enjoyed the sandboarding and camel right and time by the fireplace very much. The food prepared for us was also really good!

I was very satisfied with my visit to ATTA Desert Camp. Great, quiet location, great staff. The food was excellent. The trip in an all-terrain vehicle made an indelible impression. Organizers have fulfilled all their promises worthy of trust (Verified). Arunas, Lithuania

If there is only one thing you are going to do in Morocco, do yourself a favor and make it a trip across the Sahara to stay at ATTA Desert Camp! From the minute we booked a night at the camp, Julia and Lahsen could not have been more welcoming and helpful. They provided us with tips, guidance, ideas, and answered my 1 million insane questions, to ensure we had an amazing adventure. The few hours drive across the desert with Lahsen to the camp was punctuated by an incredible opportunity to stop and have tea with a nomad, see vast terrain, and have some fun 4 wheeling. The hospitality at the camp was first class, the welcome tea with the host was the perfect way to settle in. He was a fantastic host and we really enjoyed our chats with him. The camel ride across the dunes was amazing. We’d read reviews of camel rides in other areas (Merzouga) and people said they were uncomfortable as the ride was on concrete. This was not the case for us, we found the camels comfortable, and the gentle swaying motion was so relaxing. Our guide was pleasant and gentle with the animals. Our ride was private, but I think they usually go out in groups. Both ways would be fun. The luxury tents were just that - luxurious! The running water and flushing toilets in the middle of the desert was a welcome luxury. Comfortable beds, beautiful decor, just idyllic. The night was capped off with a delicious dinner under the stars, and Berber music around the fire where we were encouraged to join in. The entire trip was perfect. We highly recommend this must do experience.
