The experience was pleasant. Good things: the landscape is beautiful, the food is excellent, and the room is pretty good. The lights in the night are beautiful (but they didn't last too long). Quiet, relaxing, and peaceful. Not-so-good things: the domain is quite small (15-20 minutes for seeing everything). The "carriage ride" is a ride on the village street. The bathroom was not well-ventilated and the room had no air conditioning. All that we ate, was added to the room, for a final invoice, but the bills for each meal were not given to us to sign or specify the tip. And surprise: in the end, we only received the total bill (not separately, for each meal) with many tips added to it! This is not professional at all! It is pretty hard to communicate with the staff there (reception - kitchen - services --＞ they all speak separately, we didn't find a person who could explain all these things to us)

Once owned by the esteemed Count Mikes family, the estate has been tastefully refined to cater to guests, boasting vintage furniture that adds a charming allure to every corner. The exceptional cuisine, curated by a talented chef, is a culinary delight, though there were some areas for improvement in the breakfast offerings. Adding to the magical experience are the delightful and playful dogs that accompany guests throughout their stay, contributing to the estate’s warm ambiance. Ideal for a serene getaway, the estate also provides a range of experiences, from bear-watching to horse riding, ensuring a diverse and memorable stay in this quiet and picturesque retreat.

By far the best experience in Romania without a doubt. From the details of attention at reception, to the bar and the dining room - the beautiful landscape in the park, the refined and well thought after menu of the restaurant. We are back at least twice a year.

It is like a time-travelling experience. Intimate place, attention to the details, a beautiful place with an outstanding service. Cozy rooms most of them with actually working fireplaces and a huge park, lakes and boats, activities transforming the stay into experiences.
