Excellent stay with delicious dinner and breakfast! So much privacy although there are others in the ryokan too.

The service, location, and hot springs are very good. The food is neat and clean, and the view is nice. However, the transportation from Yuzawa Station to here is inconvenient. The bus schedule is unclear. I had a hard time communicating because my English is poor.

Because we are going to Xiao'an Gorge Daphne Hot Spring, the location of the hotel suits our needs very well.
The attitude of the service staff, the meals and the hot spring facilities are all good, especially the outdoor hot spring pool has a great atmosphere
The most important thing is the boss lady’s homemade spicy miso, which is so delicious

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and I was able to get a good deal by taking advantage of the Akita Prefecture Residents' Discount. The interior of the building has a traditional Japanese-style interior, which is calming and to my liking. The room was a normal Japanese-style room, and was well-cleaned, so I was able to stay comfortably. It seems that it is good to alternate between a hot indoor bath and a warm outdoor bath. If I could be greedy, I wish the indoor bath was a little larger. I was looking forward to dinner, and each room was a private dining area, which I thought was very nice. However, perhaps because it was crowded that day, all the dishes were lined up at the seats. As a result, the tempura, which was a great deal, had cooled down and become hard. There were also two small pots, but as soon as I sat down, both were set on fire, so I couldn't eat it slowly. One of them was beef grilled on a magnolia leaf, but there was not enough solid fuel, so the meat was undercooked. Maybe it would be better to cut the meat into smaller pieces. There was also sweet-and-sour char, and although they seem to be proud of its large size, I think it was a little too big. It did not match the size of the plate, and the soup spilled when I put my chopsticks in it. I think it would be a very good inn if they could improve the way the meals are served.

Stayed here for one night on the way back from Omagari Fireworks Festival. Fortunately it was a weekday and I was able to stay quietly. The hot springs are full-fledged, flowing directly from the source. The food is wonderfully done with love. The appearance of an old private house is also nice. I liked it and will use it again.
