Nice lady receptionist who checked me in. Not v clean, found many short hairs inside bedding and bathroom floor. Bad sound insulation: clearly heard upstairs people walking around and moving furniture, woman having sex and screaming heard in the entire corridor! The service is super good. There are many kinds of breakfast. I had Chinese food in the hotel and it tasted great! ! The ladies on duty at the front desk at different times were all very polite and considerate. Especially when I left something behind, the lady specifically called me to inform me and help me send it back. GGuest UserWe didn’t actually stay here but had this place booked for 2 nights. We shouldn’t have gotten a refund because we were trying to cancel 1 day after the check in day but I contacted the hotel owner and she agreed to charge us a 20% penalty. My husband fell incredibly sick and was bedridden and we had to find him a doctor during the CNY holiday. We were also with our baby and I was so stressed with how we were going to get to our destination. The hotel owner was very understanding and we hope that the next time we come back we can stay at their place. The owner sent me a video of the hotel and it looked beautiful. Thank you again for accommodating us! We are truly appreciative!

GGuest UserFirst impression entering the hotel; lack of the typical Hilton scent, and overall 5 star appearance. The lobby has several stands promoting things I can’t tell what is was in Chinese. This is typical in many Chinese hotels but it lacks the 5 star ambiance. Furthermore, near the lobby bar is a nice dessert cabinet filled with Pepsi and mineral water….why? and next to the entrance some ridiculous game boxes that makes no sense. The room was ok, good size and no issues, good cleaning. The pool was ok too but with a small and rather boring gym next door. The dinner buffet was good and for the price which included free flow of a SA mediocre red wine and beer nothing much to complaint about. The poorest part was breakfast and that was depressing, especially for someone expecting a bit of western and Hilton quality, bread selection poor. It’s ok to have a limited selection but at least make the limited selection good and fresh og the day, don’t serve 2 days old bread, that is unacceptable.

SSandraweeseIt is anazing to stay the night at the top of the mountain and be able to calmly watch the sunset without crowds since all the day trippers have already gone down with the last cablecar.
And the prospect domes are fun in that you can not just look out into the landscape from your bed, but also up into the sky.
But unfortunately a few inconsistencies that could easily be fixed:
- The toilets and showers are the staff toilets of the hotel next door and were extremely dirty and smelly at the time we stayed.
- To actually see the view properly, the prospect dome Glas also would need to be clean. ( and you also need to be on the first row of tents - doubt you would see much from the second row, since the domes are very close together)
- You are sleeping on a 2cm thin “mattress” on top of a wood plank in single use paper bedding which is not the most comfortable .
But the Food gets cooked fresh and was perfectly tasty and the girls checking you in perfectly friendly.

LLuca WorldTravelerI stayed 4 nights and the best thing of this hotel is the location: on top of Sanqingshan, next to the Waishuangxi Cableway (literally 5 min walking from the exit). From here I could wake up early in the mornings and have long days to slowly explore the entire mountain and appreciate every single area, and relax in the evenings just sitting in front of the hotel (beautiful view along the valley). Second best thing of this hotel is the owner, very helpful for anything I needed, and even with my little Chinese he managed very well everything I asked, and also his wife with her nice breakfasts, so service was good. Facilities are also good, considering that it is on top of the mountain and the price paid. I would definitely back to this hotel in other seasons to enjoy Sanqingshan!

The location is good, right at the top of Yixiantian. To watch the sunrise, you have to climb up to Yutai for about 20 minutes. After watching the sunset on the west coast, it only takes more than an hour to walk to the inn. Of course, if you live in the mountains, choose one where the sunrise is close. The room was very hygienic and the bathroom should have been renovated soon, but I was a little tired from sitting down.
