Sanqingshan XuChu Cloud Hotel

A rare gem of a small hotel on our trip. We were passing by Mount Sanqing and booked the Cloud Hotel specifically because of the heavy rain and fog. We spent an afternoon in the room, watching the clouds swirl and a stream cascading down the cliff. It truly lived up to its name, 'Cloud Hotel'. The light luxury style with smart home features throughout felt like incredible value for money. When we left, I even 'borrowed' a book I'd been wanting to read but hadn't had a chance to look at. Happy days! 😊

The room was clean, and the bed was large and soft. I loved that you could control the lights and curtains with a single button, and the facilities felt very new. The front desk offered luggage storage, and the check-in process was well-organized. The hotel's location is also very convenient. It's right next to the Waishuangxi Service Center, which has a bus to Shangrao Station. There are also many snack shops nearby. However, you do have to walk a short distance to get to the cable car station.

Facilities: Comprehensive. However, we only found out from the staff that some dryers in the laundry room weren't working properly and weren't drying clothes. It would be helpful to put up a notice. Cleanliness: Clean. Environment: Right at the bottom of the cable car. It's very convenient to walk up the stairs. The room is spacious. Service: Good. We arrived quite early, around 10:30 AM, but fortunately, the hotel had a clean room available and allowed us to check in immediately. Much appreciated. This is a fantastic hotel located near the Shuangxi River hiking trail. It's well-equipped, beautifully designed, and offers great views from the common areas. There's a shuttle bus downstairs that takes you back to the city center, and it's only about a 5-minute walk to both the hiking trail entrance and the cable car.

I frequently visit Sanqingshan for hiking, and this time I chose this hotel. Its location is excellent, right next to the Shuangxi cable car parking lot, so you can literally step off the bus and be there. There are many local farm-to-table restaurants nearby, making dining very convenient. The hotel's own restaurant also serves good food, definitely worth trying. Right outside the hotel is the Wai Shuangxi cable car tourist service center. If you walk straight through the commercial street, you'll reach the cable car entrance. This is also where hikers start their trek. Check-in is upstairs. The front desk service is fantastic, and you can directly enjoy views of the green mountains and the sounds of birds and insects. The room was new, bright, well-equipped, and very clean. Most importantly, the price was very reasonable, and they even included a complimentary minibar. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay here again next time!
