House: The B&B was renovated from a 400-year-old old house. The interior retains the style of the ancient house, with sliding windows that reveal the mountains and a very atmospheric feel. The only drawback is that the sanitary conditions inside the ancient house need to be improved. Scenery: The B&B is surrounded by gardens and there is a mountainside cafe where you can watch the mountains and chat, which is very pleasant. There is also a restaurant under construction in the garden, which is worth looking forward to. Person: Whether it is the boss sister, Big Beard, or the aunt, or the little girl, they are all very honest and friendly. The cooking made by Big Beard and the aunt is very delicious. This is the most primitive ancient village I have ever been to. The village still retains a large number of Ming and Qing buildings. The stacked ladders are still paved with stone roads, and the transportation of goods can rely on dumplings and horses. The homestay is on the mountainside, the location is excellent, the room is fully equipped, comfortable and spacious, and the window sill overlooks the opposite mountain view. If the weather is good, you can see the sunrise rising from the opposite mountain as soon as you lie on the bed! The boss is hospitable, the food is so delicious and affordable. Especially recommended to taste his Nordeng Ham and Matsutake chicken! It can be said that this trip is not bad, will come again in the future.

The B&B is in the ancient village of Nuodeng. Most of the houses here are built with rammed earth walls. They are very beautiful and special. We came during the National Day. Parking was difficult and we could only park far outside the village. Our luggage needed to be carried on mules, so we followed. I was panting heavily and sweating all over when I climbed to the B&B. The ancient villages are full of irregular stone steps. I can’t count how many steps I climbed. It was quite tiring. The environment of the B&B is good. You can see the scenery everywhere. You can stay on the terrace for a whole day and it’s not a waste of time. The room is not very clean, but it's okay under the general environment. However, the bathroom door is broken and does not close tightly. The bath water will spill out. The toilet is a bit wobbly. I hope it can be repaired if there is a chance. The food at the B&B was delicious, and the boss also gave us a taste of the home-brew wine, which was delicious. It's pet-friendly here. Several puppies came that day. The B&B has a kitten which is also very cute. There is a charging station not far outside the village, and there are service staff. There is no waiting for a table on holidays, which is great!

After driving six hours from Cizhong to Nuodeng Ancient Village, at five o'clock in the evening, with only one hour left to drive, we were told that the village's water supply had been cut off in the morning. Since the boss said it would not affect anything other than not being able to take a shower, we were still looking forward to it. But the actual situation was far-fetched. The toilet couldn't be flushed and I had to borrow water from the B&B next door. I was about to wash my face and brush my teeth, but found that there were only two bottles of mineral water prepared in the room. After 10 o'clock in the evening, I felt helpless and contacted the owner of the B&B via WeChat to arrange for the owner next door to send a few bottles of mineral water. The overall feeling is that the environment is quiet, the decoration style is simple and elegant, and the hardware facilities are really lacking. It feels like the owner of the B&B is not in the local area, so he leaves it to the local villagers for simple maintenance. The software services all rely on WeChat video contact, and the communication between himself and the owner of the B&B next door is through someone else.
