This is our second experience staying in the Old Story Inns (OSI). Our first at Dali and second here at Lijiang. The front line employees are very approachable and service oriented. The Owner/Boss has no airs and very down-to-earth. He and his employees made our very short stay at Lijiang very memorable. Apart from the unpredictable weather, our stay in the OSI at Lijiang is, in short, two thumbs up. Keep up the good work everyone from the OSI at Lijiang! 😁

Our stay at this hotel was the highlight of our Yunnan trip, thanks to the incredible staff. We were warmly welcomed with afternoon snacks and genuine care. The scenery from our hotel room was spectacular! The service was truly thoughtful as well. The staff asked about our itinerary and offered excellent recommendations for local food and attractions. When they found out we were going to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and Tiger Leaping Gorge, they went the extra mile and prepared a bag of snacks for us to help prevent altitude sickness. This kind of personal attention is rare and so appreciated. It's a wonderful place to stay where you will definitely feel the warmth and hospitality. We felt completely at home and would recommend it to anyone!

We stayed at this guesthouse for 3 nights. Everybody here is very nice and helpful, the service was amazing! They will help you with anything (for example booking tickets, giving recommendations and carrying your luggage as they don’t have an elevator). The rooms were clean and spacious. We had a room overlooking the Jade Snow Mountain. Would highly recommend staying here!

The newly opened Yidou Hotel is the best choice in the ancient city! It takes only 2 minutes on foot to reach Zhongyi Market, where you can smell the bustling market atmosphere from morning to night. The roasted bait and tofu in batter at the night market snack stalls are so delicious that you can’t move your legs. The location is excellent, and the core attractions such as Mu Mansion and Sifang Street are within a 5-minute walking circle, so there is no pressure to visit the ancient city. The hotel is designed in a simple and modern style. The rooms are warm and bright in log color. The bathrooms are separated into dry and wet areas and the facilities are brand new. The bedding is skin-friendly. You must try the Naxi specialty chicken rice noodles for breakfast, the soup is so delicious that you will want to lick the bottom of the bowl! The butler service is a hidden Easter egg - it provides answers to everything from travel routes to pitfall avoidance guides, and also gives away hand-drawn maps. The only small regret is that the rooms facing the street are a little noisy, but the sound insulation is acceptable after closing the windows. In the off-season, the average cost per person is over 150 yuan. If you can live in the heart of the ancient city, why would you need a bicycle?

The hotel is in a good location, and it is very convenient to visit the ancient city and the market. The environment and decoration are good, the room can be voice controlled, and the service is also good. There is an observation deck on the top floor where you can see the snow-capped mountains. A very satisfactory stay experience.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. It was situated in a quiet area. I loved that there were a lot of trees around. The breakfast was standard not much variation from one day to the next. The room was clean, I'll attach some photos. The security guards were really friendly. Rena went the extra mile to ensure that I had a great stay from recommending different places I could visit to arranging for my takeaway to be delivered to my door every night. Thank you once again Rena for the excellent service, it really goes a long way for someone who is travelling alone.

A very good accommodation experience during this trip to the west. Ctrip accidentally discovered Lijiang Adan Pavilion. I drove from Aden to the hotel in the afternoon. From entering the parking lot, the security guard carefully guided me to park, to the front desk staff who helped me. I pushed my luggage to the elevator entrance of the annex building where I stayed. After checking in, the waiter gave me a small gift, including the size of the room. The entire service process and on-site experience completely exceeded my expectations.大窗户直接把遠處的玉龍雪山變成了一幅畫掛在牆上，床頭有長度東巴文條幅，很有地方文化特點，床品用具和飲用水都是定製品，讓客人輕易感覺到quality. The breakfast the next morning was quite rich. My wife and I had enough to eat a full meal. When we checked out, the front desk gave us another gift. I guess it was because the hotel had just started to operate online and asked me to help evaluate it. It’s a bit of fun, but it really feels like it’s worth it haha! Finally, let me talk about some shortcomings. The room did not provide special plastic slippers for bathing. The floor tiles were very slippery during the shower. I hope they can be improved. There were also few plug-in boards. Our third mobile phone had to be charged in the bathroom. All in all, the flaws are not hidden, and I sincerely recommend that you and your friends choose Adan Pavilion to experience it. According to my experience, this hotel should have the standard four-star+ configuration ten years ago, and the furniture and bathroom facilities are a bit older. As an aside, the quality of Lijiang has improved so much compared to ten years ago. When I drove out of the hotel, because the exit was near a big intersection, I happened to encounter a queue of vehicles with a long red light. A local car owner stopped and let me in first. Main road. Also, the behavior of the security guard and the taxi driver whom I met when I went to Sifang Street in the evening made foreigners like us feel more friendly and friendly. Thank you!

The hotel is very clean, spacious and very comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly, their breakfast is very good if u don’t like too heavy food in the morning, the lady boss cooked it herself , me n my mom enjoyed it very much. We like the apples here n the staff is very generous, she even got us more. We will definitely come back and stay if we have another chance to come back to Lijiang.

This is my very first time writing a review for a B&B! This was my third attempt at booking a guesthouse, and I was quite apprehensive because the previous two hadn't been great. But this place absolutely delivered! **Airport Transfer:** I booked a three-night stay, and airport pick-up was included. The driver was incredibly warm and friendly, which immediately put me at ease on my first day in Yunnan. What truly stood out was that my flight landed at 0:40 AM, and the lovely owner was still awake, waiting for me and only went to bed after confirming I had successfully met the driver. A huge thank you to her! She had contacted me two days prior and then re-confirmed everything the day before, which was incredibly reassuring. **Service:** When we finally arrived at the guesthouse around 2 AM that first night, the owner had her husband come to help with check-in. Since there's no elevator and we were on the third floor, the owner even helped us carry our luggage up. My partner was with me, so at most other places, they might not offer help seeing a male companion, but my suitcase was really heavy, and I was so grateful for his assistance! Throughout our three-day stay, the owner was always happy to answer any travel questions we had. She's simply wonderful and incredibly sweet! They also offer breakfast daily, though unfortunately, I never managed to wake up early enough for it, haha. **Environment:** The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's perfectly situated just outside the hustle and bustle of the ancient city. You can find taxis within 200 meters, and electric scooters are also available, so you never have to worry about long walks! The guesthouse itself is exceptionally clean! The lovely owner even asked me daily if I wanted my room cleaned. The room was also spacious and very comfortable. **Extras:** The flower cakes made by the wonderful owner are absolutely delicious! Having tried various Yunnan flower cakes before, I usually stick to Jiāhuá brand, specifically their jasmine flavor. However, the rose flower cakes the owner gifted us were truly phenomenal – I found them incredibly tasty! Dare I say, the ones she gives to guests are even better than those you buy, hahaha! Finally, a big thank you for this wonderful encounter in Lijiang. I got back and immediately had to work overtime, so it took me a week to finally write this review! Wishing the lovely owner all the best and continued success with her business!
