Hotels in Lijiang Railway Station, Lijiang

Very barebones, but clean, comfortable and straightforward stay located conveniently next to Lijiang railway station. If you're coming to Lijiang by train and then plan to take a flight the next day (like we did) this hotel is superbly located ~halfway between Lijiang old town and Lijiang airport.

The hotel is in a walking distance from Lijiang railway station. Even the hotel is not located in the old town area but it's good for us to mobilize from the hotel to the attraction places. Highly recommended for travel using China high speed railway services.

The hotel is quite new, and the lobby is very large and impressive. Overall, the room was quite comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was very comfortable, but the drainage was terrible. I'm unsure if it's a design flaw or a blockage, but the water quickly overflowed and nearly reached the carpet. By the end of my shower, I was standing in ankle-deep water, which was quite unpleasant. I called customer service twice – once to have the floor dealt with and once for a new bath mat. However, it seemed only the bath mat request was heard, perhaps due to different staff members answering or a lack of attention, and their tone was rather indifferent. A big thanks, though, to the housekeeping attendant who later returned with tools and meticulously cleaned the bathroom floor. There's a significant design flaw: a glass sliding door between the bathroom and the bed. Even a retractable blind would be a welcome addition, as even couples need some privacy. Furthermore, if one person uses the bathroom light in the middle of the night, the entire room gets illuminated, which is quite impractical. Regarding breakfast, it was a bit underwhelming for a hotel of this caliber. It had all the basics, I suppose, but the taste was very ordinary. The swimming pool is only 1.2 meters deep and maintains a uniform depth throughout. It's about a 30-minute drive from the airport. While not far, its actual location is a bit remote, though the advantage is its peaceful environment. The view outside the window might not have been at its best season; not much of the lake was visible. There's also a construction site outside, so there's no view to speak of at the moment.

Hotel located exactly at dukezong city with the windows overlooking songzanlin monestary. Owner is knowledgeable and accommodating. Really nice guy. He speaks really good English! Told us he used to teach English, a tour guide and also experienced photographer~. He show us comparison of 18 years ago dukezong from his photo album and current dukezong. Told us story how Shangrila name come about. We chats about his cats, one particular kitten named Puma is very naughty. Enjoyed being in his lobby where he set up the fireplace and the cats getting heat there. At lobby there's peanut and walnut on the table, we able to enjoy them while chit chatting. I really enjoyed being in this boutique hotel. All his staff can speak simple English too~ The bed is warm and toasty. I feel it's a blessing when we check in, it was snowing lightly as well. I can see owner have great personality and an animal lover. If I ever visit Shangrila I will surely extend my stay in this hotel; just to have story time with the owner. ❤️

My stay this time was truly a wonderful surprise! The hotel's front desk team absolutely deserves a five-star rating! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly enthusiastic, with genuinely infectious smiles. Check-in was super fast, and the lobby manager took the time to meticulously explain the hotel's facilities and local amenities. Later, when I returned late at night and needed assistance, they patiently helped resolve my issue. Their attitude remained exceptionally pleasant throughout, which was incredibly comforting. The entire team worked seamlessly together – professional yet incredibly friendly, creating a very welcoming atmosphere. As a tired traveler, I instantly felt at ease. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit and highly recommend the front desk team!

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, offering a view of Wenbi Mountain from the window. The balcony also featured a hot spring tub, and after a soak, my skin felt wonderfully smooth and relaxed. The service was excellent; they provided a complimentary airport pickup, and both the driver and all the staff were very polite. The restaurant is conveniently located right next to the front desk, and the prices are quite reasonable. However, the hotel's location isn't directly in the ancient town area; it's about a 10-15 minute drive to Shuhe Ancient Town. Overall, it's perfect for travelers with their own car, as there's ample parking available. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, making it an ideal place to unwind with a hot spring bath and a good night's sleep after a day of exploring.

Before we even entered, the front desk staff immediately came out to greet us, helping us with our luggage and offering a warm welcome. The lobby is spacious and bright, with vibrant greenery and plenty of charming fish. The staff was knowledgeable and quick to check us in. They helped us take our luggage upstairs (there's an elevator) while explaining the hotel's amenities. Our room was clean and tidy, with all the amenities, creating a very comfortable and relaxing experience. The rooftop sky garden offers a stunning 360-degree view. Waking up, opening the curtains and soaking up the sun was a delight! It was a fantastic stay, and the price was affordable, under 200, with everything included, including a washing machine, dryer, and breakfast tea and coffee. I'll definitely be back!

🌟 Stepping into the room, the refreshing aroma of wood is instantly relaxing. The room is clean, spacious, and bright, with a well-designed layout and soft bedding. The best part is the private hot spring pool. The water is crystal clear and rich in minerals, leaving your skin feeling smooth and silky smooth. Enjoy the hot springs and the scenery during the day, and the starry night sky is incredibly romantic! All your fatigue is instantly washed away. Their hot spring afternoon tea is a must-try! It's photogenic! The courtyard is filled with thoughtfully designed photo spots, and when the warm lights are on at night, the atmosphere is breathtaking, like being in a fairyland! Breakfast is also authentic Yunnan rice noodles! The owner is so nice, I'll be back next time!

Overall I’m satisfied with this hotel, nearby Lijiang railway station. Hotel also provide pick up & send to railway station. Hotel is clean, complete with all the facilities needed by travellers. Thank you, keep it up. I will stay again in this hotel if come to Lijiang soon.

On a clear day, the sunlight bathes the snowcapped peaks, creating a breathtaking scene! 🛏️[Comfortable room, impeccable details] - The bedding is made of high-count cotton, and it feels like being wrapped in a cloud. You can sleep until you wake up naturally. The cleanliness is impeccable. - The bathroom has strong and steady water pressure, washing away a day's fatigue. The amenities are elegantly scented with a light wood note, giving it a luxurious feel. - The room has a huge floor-to-ceiling window. During the day, you can see the snow-capped mountains, and at night, you can count the stars. When she heard we were planning to visit the ancient city, she even gave us some tips to avoid pitfalls. 🧹 [Impeccable cleanliness, a delight for mysophobes] - The room was spotless, even the electrical outlets were clean, so walking barefoot was perfectly acceptable. - The bath towels and bed sheets smelled of sunshine, making your stay incredibly reassuring. - During daily cleaning, the hostess meticulously checks everything. This level of thoroughness is even more reassuring than a five-star hotel! 🌄 [Bonus: Rooftop Terrace with Stunning Views] - The rooftop features a 360-degree viewing terrace. Watch the sunrise over the Golden Mountain in the morning, admire the sunset in the evening, and even take photos of the starry sky at night. A photographer's delight! - There are also adorable cats, perfect for cat lovers! The cats are all so cute! If I could only stay in one B&B in Lijiang, I'd definitely choose this one! Not only because of the beautiful scenery and great location, but also because of the warmth and family-like hospitality of the hostess. Here, travel fatigue is soothed, and a strange city feels warm. Highly recommended for any traveler who loves life and appreciates details!
