Xuelu Snow Mountain Guesthouse is super conveniently located right within the scenic area, making it very easy to explore. The mountain views from our window were absolutely stunning and perfect for photos. The room itself was clean and tidy, with all essential toiletries provided, which made our stay incredibly comfortable. The guesthouse is also conveniently close to Baisha Ancient Town. You can easily spend your day exploring Yuhu Lake and your afternoon wandering through the ancient town, making for a rich and varied itinerary. Our host was also very kind and enthusiastically recommended local attractions. Highly, highly recommended!

Our stay at Xuelu Snow Mountain Guesthouse was fantastic! The guesthouse is located right in Yuhu Village. You can step outside and take your children for a horseback ride to explore the charming ancient village, with the majestic snow-capped mountains as a stunning backdrop – it was truly idyllic. For dinner, the local chicken, cured meat, and spare rib hotpot was incredibly fragrant and delicious; our whole family thoroughly enjoyed it. What's more, the service was exceptionally warm and thoughtful. We highly recommend it!

If you're visiting Lijiang, you absolutely *must* dedicate a day to staying at a snow mountain guesthouse! 🏔️ **A piece of life advice:** When in Lijiang, make sure to set aside time to explore Yuhu Village. We carpooled from Dali Ancient Town to Yuhu Village 🚗. Our driver was genuinely impressed that we managed to book a stay there, mentioning it's a spot even locals choose for their getaways. From my online research, I'd learned that Yuhu Village's Naxi architecture sets it apart from other ancient towns 🏠. All buildings are constructed using stones from the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🧱. The entire village exudes an ancient and mystical aura. There's no commercialization here, just a serene sense of timelessness. Plus, you can get a direct view of the 'Golden Mountain at sunrise' right from the guesthouse! I had already eyed Xuelu Snow Mountain Guesthouse online 🏨. We booked a room last minute and unfortunately didn't snag the best view room, but the scenery was still beautiful, and we could still see the snow-capped mountains. The guesthouse is meticulously decorated, with every corner feeling thoughtfully designed. They also have a lovely little courtyard overflowing with flowers. They're pet-friendly with resident cats and dogs, including a giant Poodle named 'Laicai' (meaning 'bringing wealth') who is incredibly affectionate! 💕 One major benefit of staying here is its proximity to Jade Dragon Snow Mountain 🏔️. We stayed a night here after coming from Dali, woke up naturally the next day, and then went to explore Blue Moon Valley and Spruce Meadow. While Yuhu Village offers rustic charm, it's worth noting that dining and drinking options aren't as abundant or convenient as in the more commercialized ancient towns. BUT, Xuelu has its own chef and live singer! Here, you can savor Naxi ethnic dishes like local chicken and cured pork rib hotpot 🍲 (Regrettably, we arrived too late to try it, but the guesthouse hostess kindly made us some delicious hometown-style rice noodles – so good!). After dinner, listening to the singer play guitar and sing 🎸, the magic of travel truly materialized in that moment. The guesthouse offers coffee and cocktails 🍸. As long as you don't waste it, the coffee is free-flowing during your stay! ☕️ I tried their coconut latte, and it was genuinely delicious – pure bliss! They also provide sweet dumplings and milk for late-night snacks 🥛, so no need to worry about finding food in the village after dark. Breakfast is served until 10 AM, which is absolutely perfect for a late-riser like me. The spread was also very generous, with rice noodles, milk, corn, sweet potatoes, and more. To sum it up, it was an incredibly pleasant stay. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!! (P.S. Next time, I *have* to book a room with an even better view!)

Xue Lu truly enriched our trip! The beautiful Yuhu Village was so captivating, we didn't want to leave. My son and I absolutely loved Xue Lu's coffee and fresh coconut cocoa. The live folk music performances in the evening were a highlight, and the owner's recommendation for Cuiyan restaurant was excellent. The entire experience was absolutely phenomenal! Our room was also perfect, and they even offered a complimentary ethnic costume experience. It was simply wonderful! We're already looking forward to our next stay.

The moment I arrived at the hotel in the evening and stepped into its charming little garden, all the day's fatigue simply melted away. First off, the room amenities were incredibly comprehensive: a projector, a Marshall speaker, and a Mousse mattress – I slept incredibly well! The decor and overall ambiance were also fantastic. The owner was wonderful, and the staff were all incredibly warm and welcoming. They prepared fresh fruit, baked walnut shortbread, and even hand-brewed coffee for us. Finding Xuelu felt like fate. I hadn't booked a hotel in advance for this trip, but when I stumbled upon it online, I was immediately drawn in. And it certainly didn't disappoint! It left a truly deep impression on me. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit!

Stepping inside, we were truly impressed! The rooms are quite spacious, spotless, and come with excellent facilities. The guesthouse hosts are incredibly friendly, even inviting us downstairs for music and a chat. Breakfast is provided in the morning, with free coffee and unlimited refills! My absolute favorite part was the resident cats and dogs 🐶—they're just adorable! You can also enjoy the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain' sunrise/sunset views from both your room and the rooftop viewing deck.
