When visiting Lijiang, you must set aside a day to stay at a Snow Mountain B&B. After some online research, I arrived at Yuhu Village, which is indeed a quaint village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The village's well-preserved stone-walled ancient buildings, located at the foot of Jade Dragon Snow Mountain, are truly rare in the country. The B&B rooms come with a private courtyard where you can fully enjoy the sunshine under the snow-capped mountains and the starry sky at night. The room design is exquisite and simple, blending in with the environment of Yuhu Village. I must especially mention that the B&B service is also five-star. There is a breakfast, afternoon tea restaurant, and you can order dinner. They also have their own restaurant specializing in Lijiang Huotang wild mushroom soup pots and barbecues. It is very unique, clean, and delicious. The day before check-in, the front desk contacted me specifically to arrange a car to pick us up from the train station, which solved my worries. I will definitely stay at Baolin again when I come to Yuhu next time 🌹

It was my first time staying at this B&B located in Yuhu Village at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. The experience was amazing. The entire B&B is built of stone, and I was amazed at first sight. The overall design of the B&B is very artistic. The room is very clean and tidy, and the toiletries are also excellent. After check-in, they also provide afternoon tea, coffee, and desserts. If the weather is good, you can sit in their courtyard, sip coffee, and feel the breeze at the foot of the snow-capped mountains. It feels very comfortable. The owner also helped us with a lot of pitfalls in Lijiang. They also provide airport pick-up and drop-off services. The location is right in Yuhu Square, so it is super convenient to take the bus. It was a super, super, wonderful stay. Recommended.

The room was beautifully decorated and well-organized. The facilities were complete. The afternoon tea and breakfast were excellent. The manager was also very helpful. The three kittens were super cute.

The B&B is exquisite and has a strong sense of design, which shows that the owner has a sense of purpose. However, whether it was the personal reasons of the bespectacled owner or the lack of discussion between the two partners, the communication experience was very poor. It felt like a kind of overbearing and unfriendly atmosphere. Honestly, Yunnan B&Bs are very competitive, not only in terms of the hardware facilities, but also in the service awareness of the owner and staff.
