Yugawara Retreat Goen No Mori

The hotel is located about 7 minutes' walk from Yugawara Station. It has an elegant exterior and rooms with traditional Japanese design, much like the traditional Japanese homes seen on TV dramas. The hot spring on the basement floor is also very comfortable, but the bathing facilities in the room are relatively old. The next day's breakfast was a completely vegetarian Japanese meal, which was very special.

We went there for the Atami Fireworks Festival. Hotels in Atami are ridiculously expensive, up to 4k to 5k a night, so we chose Yugawara, one stop away from Atami, and found this small family hotel. The hotel is super cozy with lots of cute touches. The room is in a very traditional Japanese style, just like Doraemon’s home! You need to make your own bed, it is a tatami bed, and their tatami beds are really comfortable! 😁 The only drawback is that you need to keep pressing the shower button for the water to come out. It is a relatively old-fashioned hot spring facility. Apart from this, everything else is very good, and the private bath is also great! ps: Their food and accommodation are all vegetarian, so friends who cannot accept this should pay attention. I went to Atami at night and saw the fireworks, it was beautiful. If you want to watch the Atami Fireworks Festival, you can consider this small hotel. The owner also gave me a small gift when I left the store, which was very thoughtful.

定的最小的房型，睡兩個人完全沒問題，有獨立衞生間和洗漱台，乾濕分離，無獨立浴室。房間很乾凈，傳統日本房間，是很好的體驗。店家服務非常好，早餐也非常棒，店家會英文溝通無障礙。一定要確認好免費取消時間，一旦過了無法取消，協商取消也不行，但好在體驗感很好，取消不了也不用擔心。 我們是為了熱海的煙火定的湯河原的酒店，之前擔心來不及晚上的地鐵，其實完全不用擔心，atami距離湯河原也就一站，五分鐘抵達，民宿距離地鐵站大概十分鐘不到的距離，不會太遠，路上可以欣賞到城鎮風光，很乾凈很舒適，是非常不錯的體驗。
