I was honestly quite disappointed with our stay. The room only had a toilet—no shower or even a simple wash basin.
We had to use a shared basin in the corridor, which was meant for several rooms. Having to go outside just to brush our teeth or wash our faces felt really inconvenient and uncomfortable.
For showers, we had no choice but to use the Onsen. There were only 4 or 5 private onsen rooms, so my partner and I had to lock the door while others waited outside. It felt rushed and definitely not relaxing. This setup is really not suitable if you're traveling with an infant or small child.
The walk from the station to the hotel took about 15 minutes. In cold weather, it felt even longer and wasn’t pleasant at all.
The kaiseki dinner was underwhelming, and breakfast was very basic—far from what we had hoped for.
We are staying at the last corner room with the washup in-front. Some guests will also used it there which is outside our room.(Pic attached)

It's a grea deal to stay here. I stayed in a single bed room. It was cozy. They served a good dinner and breakfast!

Great food, nice room and very professional services. Easily walkable from the station and has 5 onsens so plenty for the guests to take turn dipping in the glorious bath.

It was so quiet and private, the hot springs were great, and the family hot springs were all great. I liked the food and the variety and composition were good. I want to come again next time.

It wasn't an expensive ryokan, so I didn't expect much, but I was satisfied and had a good rest.
It took about 5 minutes to walk from the station, but it was easy to find because you just have to go straight down, and the room was also satisfactory.
I tried the kotatsu for the first time, and the heating was really warm.
I used the hot springs, the most popular one in the evening, and the small indoor hot spring in the morning. The most popular one is always crowded and is closed during dinner time, but I was able to go in after eating dinner and waiting for less than an hour on the chair in front of me.
They set a dinner time, but I was at 6:30, and it seems to be open from 6, but it seems like the first person who had dinner around 7:20 was the one who used it. I think it's about 30 to 50 minutes per time slot, so you can wait.
I didn't eat breakfast because I slept in late.
