Very upsetting the outdoor pool was closed. We traveled with our whole family to swim in the pool. They do have indoor pool but that wasn’t good enough. Hotel staff said they emptied it because they thought it would be too cold. Even in the middle of winter Hotels don’t empty their pools. They keep it running year round. Other hotels in Yueyang had their swimming pools open. We would of stayed and extra two days but felt like we were wasting our time not having the outdoor pool Multiple weddings were happening while we were there and because of this we weren’t allowed to eat in the main dining hall and when we sat in a public area we were told to leave because they wanted to take photos. The hotel staff did compensate us with a private room after we complained and spoke to the manager which was nice. But because of this we felt like guests that weren’t really cared about when some photographer told us to move our whole family because he needed to take photos(we were sitting in a public space outside our bedroom. This was our second time staying here and still no hamburgers available yet it’s still on the menu. We can look past all these things but the main thing that ruined our holiday was the pool being empty. Specially for the price we paid we felt like we got cheated

The hotel is located in the Chinese-style classical manor villa built by the lake in Dongting Lake Town. The design layout is very reasonable. The front desk lady helped me upgrade the parent-child room waiter to help me pull my luggage to the room and send warm heart soup to taste. It happened that I met the boss of the manor when I went to experience the tea ceremony. The boss was very polite and handsome. During the conversation, I learned that my daughter was unwell and immediately notified the front desk to help us upgrade to the best suite in the manor. Let us experience the quiet and comfortable VIP experience of the manor. The hotel’s dining is also top-notch. The environmental dishes and services are very high-standard but the price is close to the people. It can be said that the king of cost-effectiveness. The boss is still a tea ceremony. As the first member of Ctrip to stay at BTG Nanyuan Hotel, I am honored to be upgraded to a superior lake view room by the store. Go out of the hotel and walk slowly along the lakeside trail for about 15 minutes to reach the Yueyang Tower ticket office. Revisiting the old place is over for 1 hour. Take the official road back to the hotel and enter an unknown alley. There are many businesses and delicacies in the alley. At the end is Yueyang Gate Tower. In the evening, the surrounding residents gathered in the square and the lake to walk, dance, sing, fish, and play in the fountains to show the happiness of the people of Yueyang. I am a layman and I am also involved in it. I only stayed for two nights because of an appointment in Nanchang, and I felt very sad when I left. The hotel has a free parking lot in the underground garage on the left (see picture). The room is clean and bright. There is also a balcony with a view of the lake. The big bed is soft and comfortable. The bathroom is separated from dry and wet. The entire room is elegant. Disadvantages: 1. The balcony door is not soundproof, the material is really good, but the workmanship is too poor. 2. The restaurant hadn't opened yet, so I had to order takeaway for dinner and moved the small table to the balcony door (it was too hot to go out) while watching the square lights, drinking and chatting, and then moving the table back after eating. The front desk said that it is estimated that the tenants in October will be happy. All in all, it was a wonderful trip.
