Amazing! Jacky has great English, and helps with everything - he showed me some great hiking paths, helped with transportation (got me a shared van to the train station at a really good price), and was always available. The restaurant is also great, and the room has an amazing view of the rice terraces. He even upgraded my room for free! Highly recommend.

Jacky is amazing, the place is lovely, really. You can get very good food and beers at the place and enhoy the sunrise on the terrace. The rooms are all very clean and beautiful. Really really a pleasant stay. (Did I say about the food?)

Jacky’s guesthouse was fantastic. As mentioned by previous visitors, Jacky is incredibly friendly and helpful, and has great tips for where to go in the area for sunrise, sunset, hikes, and food. The guesthouse is simple but lovely, our room was large enough for two, and the coffee is really nice! I would love to return to this area in a different season to enjoy the terraced rice fields again.

Had an amazing time at Jackie's. He's very nice and helpful. He showed me many trails. i had booked the dorm and was upgraded to a single room. The view from the guesthouse is breathtaking Breakfast and dinner were also good. I highly recommend!

Amazing place and amazing host! Jacky already reached out to us before we checked in and made sure we had a transfer from Kunming to his place! This was 100% perfect since you get dropped in front of his place. Food was yummy and the place downstairs is nicely and cosy decorated. Accompanied by Simba (cat) and Doudou (the guide dog) it is a nice happy fun family there! The room was clean and had a nice view on the ricefields. Also they have a roof where you can see the view. Location wise, you are next to the ricefields and nearby (8-10min walk) the platform where you can see the ricefields during sunset (don’t forget money+passport). We also did a hike trail through the ricefields with Doudou as our super guide! Jacky accompanied/helped us during the hike and it was such a nice and beautiful experience!! He and Doudou are the golden couple! They brought us to the station and we already missed them already! Thank you again and hope to see you guys again!! 100% recommended :)

The hotel is in a perfect point in the centre of the town very close to the main view point. You can see the terraces from the rooftop drinking a tea without moving from the hotel. It's clean and comfortable. I had an electric blanket that was very useful. The breakfast is good. Jacky the owner can give good advices about what to see and where to go and help for the transportation.

This hotel is highly recommend for the for the quality/price offered. .The room was large and comfortable. The staff were extremely friendly. Especially the owner Jacky who helped us navigate the area with goods detailed plans to make my visit in the region very pleasant .Also the food was delicious.
