A good hotel, though tired-looking but still in good condition - good value for its price range but breakfast was a very simple spread. Electric blanket and hot shower were positives! Plenty of mini buses or MPVs 50m down the road junction for onward connections to Yuanyang rice terraces (upcountry) or Nansha (downhill) for easy transfer to Jianshui, Kunming etc.

Very good, a decent hotel, probably the best in Yuanyang County. It is much more cost-effective than the ones in the Terrace Scenic Area. It is also very close to the scenic area by car, and the price is much cheaper than the ones in the scenic area.

The inn is located in a quiet village in Duoyishu. Location was good - about 15 to 20 mins walk from Duoiyishu terrace viewing platform, and there was a small restaurant near the inn. The Hani caretaker was hospitable and showed me the way to get to the terrace fields in the village. It was so wonderful being able to get so close to the rice terraces! Here, you could view the sunrise without having to pay the 70yuan charged at the viewing platforms. Do note that the 70 yuan ticket allows access to the other viewing platforms as well, and is good for 72 hours. I had a free upgrade to a bigger room with large windows and a view. The room was clean and the bed was so comfortable with an electric blanket. Owner is fluent in both Chinese and English, and was helpful in arranging my transport and giving advice on the sunrise viewing spots. I have beautiful memories of my stay in Duoyishu, would like to come back again!

The location of the hotel is perfect. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the Duoyishu Observation Deck. You don't have to get up too early to watch the sunrise. Opposite the hotel is the number one restaurant. Next to the hotel is the restaurant opened by the proprietress. The top three tastes very good and the ingredients are fresh. The proprietress is very warm and caring, and I feel that I can remember every guest who stayed. I recommend the route of the attractions and share the photo guide. I also ate the breakfast made by the proprietress during the two days of staying. Thank you very much! Next time I come to Yuanyang, I will choose this one!
