Supara Chunkurchak

Had a hard drive to reach to Supara Chunkurchak Resort where we had one lunch. Great location and amazing view from there. Welcomed by local girls dressed in Kyrgyzstan traditional dress. Select a table and tried horse meat for the first time in my life. Tasty food, new experience, wonderful staff and great hospitality.

This was the best place we stayed over the course of a 2 week trip across Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan. It is worth paying a little more for the VIP Yurts that have panoramic views of the surrounding snow-capped mountains. The food is delicious and served in the central yurt - the well heeled crowd from Bishkek all come here for Sunday lunch. And then the hikes around the valley are breath taking. We loved it. It's luxurious, but it also feels like a very authentic experience.

Had a great stay, surrounded by nature & clear fresh air, great view from the room. Was staying in the top row ( room 13) which has the best view unfortunately out of WiFi range. The rooms do not have intercom service so you need to call or message the receptionist for any complaints or requests. Walking the step is a pain especially if you are staying in the top row. ( small step) You will need help to carry your luggage up the steps. Breakfast is way minimally & available. Bed are comfortable but not the pillows Restaurant has a selection of local & European menu. They have a small play area for kids and adult can enjoy horse riding at extra cost. Staff are good & hardworking.

Beautiful views all around. Fresh air, nice yurts, great food. Pitiful playground, no benches. The observation point has no shadow, no benches, no grass. Definitely, compound needs some improvement. Children would love some standard playground equipment. Adults would appreciate some benches.

Remote place that has very nice views in the middle of wilderness. Staff found helpful and polite. The restaurant has various food offerings, authentic & European. It is important to mention that there is a big difference between cabins and rooms with balconies. The cabins do not offer WiFi, nor telephones, nor TV, nor closet, nor safe. The cabin is a very basic room with barely basic offerings. The water heater lasts for 3 minutes shower only then it gets as cold as ice. The cabin has very poor curtains (short). You need to be careful not to bump your head with the water heater when entering the bathroom. The road to this place is very bumpy and without lights, making it a bit risky to drive through the night. We will come back again but we will chose the uper rooms with balcony.

I have been several times to the hotel. It offers a very nice experience for a peaceful weekend with the family. It has a very nice view to enjoy the nature. The breakfast was on a good level considering the emphasis is on ethnographic elements. The restaurant has a wide variety and delicious. I can always recommend a visit to the hotel.
