As a Wallander fan I loved the opportunity to stay here - and I wasn't disappointed. A lovely characterful building with a very decent continental breakfast; and a funky lift!

We stayed one night at Stationens Bed & Breakfast after visiting Ystad Saltsjöbaden. Stationens B&B is centrally located, right next to the train station and the harbor. We arrived just before 11 PM and had received a code from the owners to enter. It was easy to find the key to our room. Our room (number 13) was at the corner of the building, fairly spacious, with large windows letting in plenty of light. The beds were comfortable, and with the blackout curtains drawn, the room became nicely dark. We slept very well all night without being disturbed by cars, trains, or ferries. Breakfast was excellent and had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Overall, it was an excellent stay that we are happy to recommend.

This hotel was immaculate and is so beautifully decorated. We were in 36 which felt like a brand newly refurbished room. When you arrive it is like going back in time in the lobby and eating area, you'll think you are on a film set - its perfect! The breakfast wasn't the greatest but there was something for everyone, and in no way impacted on our stay. It is on top of the railway station (but not at all noisy) which is perfect and is very central to get out and see this charming town. It is a well run, warm (we were there in Feb), very clean and stunning hotel - would recommend! (PS Wallander fans - look out for Jussi!)

Highly recommend this lovely property
Loved our stay at the Stationen b&b…the property has lots of character and charm.
Our room was great with a good view to the port.
Breakfast was very nice.
The location was fantastic to explore the town…&obviously very near the station

Als je van een bepaalde sfeer houdt ben je hier goed. Het oude station heeft zijn charme behouden. Maar de kamer(s) zijn hypermodern en bijzonder comfortabel. Het sanitair is echt van grote klasse. Het comfort straalt je echt tegemoet. Even er aan denken dat de ramen roosters hebben die, als ze open staan, veel gelui binnen laten. Je zit wel naast een spoorweg en de treinen hoor je anders rijden. Eten in het restaurant is een belevenis en aanrader (maar reserveer op tijd). Het ontbijt is prima. Ook de service vooraf, waar je kunt parkeren, is echt netjes.

Bella atmosfera in questa vecchia stazione dei treni trasformata in albergo. Camera ampia e luminosa. Posizione comoda alla partenza dei treni e al terminal portuale, ma durante la notte nessun rumore ha disturbato il nostro riposo. A disposizione degli ospiti un bel salotto e una cucinetta con bollitore , microonde, e lavello. Colazione varia, più salata che dolce, come da tradizione svedese. Parcheggio a pagamento adiacente.
