The hotel was very nice and close to the city centre.
The room I was put in was an accessible room, which I did not book nor agree to. I feel this negatively impacted the experience.
The air conditioning unit was making loud rumbling noises all through the night, causing me to not have a good sleep.
The room was cold, even with heating, and due to the accessible room, there was no shower lip and the room was very wet following a short shower.
Not too impressed, would be unlikely to stay again.

It's pretty and nice. All the staff were friendly too. It's a bit far from downtown York, but it's easily walkable if you don't have luggage, and taking a taxi won't cost much.
The room overall was very clean and spacious. However, there is no elevator, so if you have heavy luggage, it may be difficult because the stairs are narrow and steep.

We booked a courtyard hotel, which is located on the first floor. The lobby has a retro style, with a bar and restaurant. The courtyard in the lobby is just average! !

This is the most satisfying hotel I have stayed at during this trip. The location of the hotel is just right, ten minutes away from the train station and York Minster, so it is very quiet with no tourists to disturb it. The hotel has a classic appearance and modern furnishings. The facilities are very complete, but it is a pity that I only stayed for one night and did not use them. It has been more than ten days since I came to the UK. Because of the jet lag, I slept the best tonight.
