I loved it here, peaceful and picturesque. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with a great view. The grounds and nearby area make for wonderful walks/rides and scenic views. The breakfasts and offerings at the inn and their on-site restaurants were most satisfying. Staff at the inn and restaurants were uniformly friendly and helpful. We've been to Maine many times and have never had a better overall experience. My one and only suggestion would be for the innkeepers to find a way to discourage the occasional geese flock from soiling the gorgeous lawn areas. Otherwise, I'm all in on this place.

We had a great one night stay here as our first night in Maine before heading up the coast. It was peaceful and beautiful and I thought it was a good value for high season in Maine. The room was older but very clean and the patio overlooking the water was so nice. Everyone was friendly and the included breakfast was a convenient perk. I would stay here again.

Stayed there recently was pretty excited since we had never vacationed in Maine. The room was ok nothing like we expected for the price. There was no refrigerator, no coffee maker I’ve stayed at less expensive places and were provided those. The room had a weird smell to it but we got use to it. Room was bare minimum. Breakfast was provided but pretty mediocre. Coffee was good however. Staff was ok friendly. One night we needed to speak with someone there tried several numbers provided ended up leaving a message at front desk. Never heard from anyone until the next morning when we got a text, not a phone call. I think that’s pretty bad why out of concern to a paying guest wouldn’t you at least call? We ended up leaving a day early we rather just be home at that point. We definitely would not go back and obviously would not recommend. Not worth the money.

We went to this restaurant with friends. The location is absolutely beautiful overlooking harbor. We started out with the Lobster bisque . I had the fish and chips which was mediocre. The bread costs 5 dollars which I think is outrageous. I was at best disappointed… the saving grace was the soup which unfortunately was not hot

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by staff with a personal tour of the property. Our cabin was very comfortable and nicely appointed. Very quiet location with a deck overlooking the small bay. Had a very nice dinner on-site. Rest assured, every unit overlooks the water. This property certainly provides a sanctuary to rest and relax. Worthy of a return visit.

We dined in the dining room overlooking the water. The service here is top notch and the servers are informative and attentive. The swordfish special was wonderful and the flourless chocolate tort for dessert was very good. We had a nice time.

The reservation process was quick and simple. Even when we decided to extend our stay and extra day and requested a late check in. It was all done swiftly. The staff were pleasant, friendly and extremely helpful. No request was too big. The rooms were very nice, beds very comfortable and the views spectacular. The breakfast was really delicious with something different every morning. The grounds were awesome. I would highly recommend. Two thump up!!!

We were greeted warmly by the owner when we checked in. He helped us with our luggage. We stayed in Room 106 in the Crows Nest. Our room was nicely appointed and right on the water with a wonderful deck. The food, drinks and service at Dockside Restaurant were excellent. There is also a Tiki Bar with excellent food, drinks and service. For a very reasonable fee the owner took a small group of guests on a delightful one hour boat cruise. I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the owner and staff at the Dockside. A plentiful and delicious breakfast buffet was provided each day. The location provides stunning views of York Harbor. We enjoyed seeing the boats come in and out of the harbor. The Dockside Quarters in York has become our favorite vacation destination in Maine!

We were so looking forward to our bed and breakfast at Dockside. When we pulled up there in the evening the restaurant was just closing down and we were very hungry. The staff asked if we liked crab rolls that maybe they could find some and we said for sure. So we sat down and waited for them in the bar. When the staff returned they said they went ahead and threw in some fries and coleslaw too. We were very thankful until we read the bill. The bill was for $84 and then we about fell over. The only other things we purchased was a Coke and a beer. That price was just ridiculous but of course we had nothing we could do but pay for it. I suppose we should have said no but they could have also told us this beforehand. We really felt taken advantage of and there wasn’t that much food, we were still hungry. There is no place around to grab a snack that we knew of. On the way out they reminded us that there was a wedding party using the restaurant the next night which was Saturday and so the restaurant would be closed. This was very disappointing to hear we had planned to eat there. The room was very comfortable and cute we did like it and it had a view of the harbor. That is until they put up the wedding tent and then that blocked our view. When the wedding party arrived they had the whole area taken over by the fire pits and the loud noise and music went on until well after 10pm. When we thought we might get some relaxation to go to sleep, there was a gathering of men outside under the tent swearing for hours. Then it was quiet only because we found out they were moving to the side of the complex to swear and be loud again they were drunk of course. No idea how long this went on for but there is no security there and no phone number to call in a complaint. There was other guests trying to relax through all of this too, it was so annoying. The food there was good, especially the home made breads and pastries. We were in room 119. We told the staff in the morning they seemed surprised and they apologized for the noise. They should not be renting out rooms for weddings on the same weekends when others are there to relax. They need to change this policy because it is a very nice place to stay when visiting Maine. We paid about $350-$375 a night and we had to leave for awhile just to find peace and quiet. This needs to be corrected. I would not stay there again unfortunately because of this bad experience.
