Hotels in Gening tourist area/Qingyun Mountain scenic spot, Yongtai

Space Pod Capsule (white UFO shaped) rooms are not available. I was clickbaited with the picture shown on Trip.com app.  The check-in counter said that the capsule room we booked isn’t ready yet, so they gave us an upgraded room, which is turned out as a normal square (apartment vibe) boring room. (Check my pictures) Boo-yah! When i explore the area, i found the space pod capsules in a restricted area & don't think they're operating them anymore (just as the glass slides). Stand-outs:  + the Receptionist & concierge are very friendly & english spoken! + the Hotsprings are tremendous, 50 ponds in total of outdoor & indoor ponds. (consider to start visiting by the time it’s opened which is from 2:30 PM until sunset around 6PM). Then continue to dine at the restaurant afterwards. We took ab 4,5hours to finish all the 50 ponds lol. This is like a (man-made not natural) Hotspring Wonderland! + kids-friendly which is smoke free & we required to wear swimsuit (unlike japanese onsen which req us to be totally naked).

It is very close to Qinglong Waterfall and can be reached on foot. You can walk directly to the provincial road. It is not realistic to take a taxi nearby. It is recommended to drive by yourself. Remember to ask in advance for a shower. The hot water is very slow. I wanted to take a shower at 8 o'clock in the evening, but there was no hot water until 11 o'clock. I finally gave up and went to bed. But the boss was very enthusiastic. He helped to cook porridge and boiled eggs for breakfast the next day. 4 boiled eggs and 2 servings of porridge only cost 12 yuan, which solved a big problem. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult to have breakfast nearby. There were not many people in the scenic area during the May Day holiday.

The boss was very enthusiastic and informed us of the itinerary in advance. Help us book tickets in advance. The farmhouse that eats downstairs in the evening is delicious and affordable, it is highly recommended to live here! At night, you can see the stars on the side of the road.

The room was clean and tidy. The large bed was comfortable. There are mountains and bamboo forests outside the window. The environment is nice. During the off-season, businesses do not prepare lunch and dinner. But the store provides free breakfast. The service was excellent, warm and attentive. It is not far from the central scenic area. Convenient for traveling. Worth staying. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The location is super easy to find. It is the first one within 20 meters of the ticket booth of the scenic spot. The owner and his wife are very enthusiastic. The room where they stay is very clean. The scenery outside the window is super good. Parking at the door is convenient. I spent two days at the owner’s place. After eating three meals, the price in the scenic area is simply too cheap, and it is also convenient to go to the scenic spots. It is a good trip to experience.

The location is very good, just opposite the Tianchi Scenic Area, and the shuttle bus to the Grand Canyon is at the door, which is convenient for travel. The room is relatively small but has all the facilities, which is the standard of a general express hotel. The quilt is a little damp, but it is understandable in the mountains. The air conditioner is probably not washed, and it smells very bad when the heater is turned on. However, when I went there, although the weather was cold, I didn't need the heater. The Haohan Restaurant at the entrance can only be said to be average. It costs 160 to order three dishes without a set meal. The cost performance is slightly low, but it is in the scenic area and on the mountain, which is not unacceptable. There are no activities at night. You can only watch the stars. The air is very good and you can see many stars. In short, it is acceptable. After all, the price did not increase by more than 600 yuan a night during the May Day holiday, and it also comes with a double scenic spot package. It is very conscientious. The room price is only more than 300 yuan a night, which is about the same price as the express hotel at the foot of the mountain. If you want good conditions, you can only live in the Yu Hot Spring at the foot of the mountain or the county town.

The boss and his wife are simple and kind people, and they treat guests sincerely. The relaxed atmosphere makes people feel comfortable eating and living. They are very good at hygiene and can be said to be spotless.
