The inn is located under the Tusi Bridge in Furong Town, beside the Bai Shui Tan. It is about 50 meters away from the big waterfall. Surrounding it are small bridges, flowing water, deep waterfalls, cliff-style sloping houses. Everywhere is a beautiful scenery. The inn was transformed from a century-old old house that integrates the styles of nature and originality, local customs and gentry, ethnic culture and the Republic of China era. The culture of the gentry of the Republic of China and the simple and wild Xiangxi culture are very rich. It recreates the Xiangxi world described by Shen Congwen, being rough yet exquisite, aged yet refined, profound yet leisurely.

The hotel offers free pick up from railway station so I it is really convient, there is also good view from the hotel on a river

Picture is misleading since the hotel doesn’t have views of the waterfall, only of the river. The room was ok but not the most comfortable.

First of all, the whole experience is okay. Beds are okay, atmosphere is good, everything you need is almost provided, and there is a washing machine!
But, we booked for one suite room, which includes one 1.8m wide double bed, and 2 double bed (1.35m).
So with the descriptions, we are expecting 3 double beds. But no, it appears to be a 1.5m wide double bed, and 2 single beds.
We tried to communicate with the receiption, but she didnt give a good explanation.
She said it is a 1.35m wide double bed at first, but then after we verify it is a 1.2m single bed, she said this is the app translation issue. And the is just a brief of what we have argued. Basically she try to deny its their problem but the app's problem.
So in the end, we have no choice but to booked for another single room.
She did compensate with an offer to drive us back to the train station, but we still paid for an extra room. So if anyone booking this hotel should call them in advance to confirm the bed size.
In addition, the extra single room we paid, some corner is very dirty.

Very helpful staff and delicious food. A perfect spot to rest and quickly get set up before the night walk in Furong. I had the best sleep, and the view was absolutely spectacular. Reception responded quickly to every request and was always helpful. I’ll definitely book again, the pictures shown are exactly what you get when you arrive. Also breakfast allows you to get a taste of their local cuisine.

The room looks exactly like the picture. The AC was blasting cold which was perfect for the hot summer weather. Amazing view from the balcony. Great location as it’s a few minutes walk (3-5min) from the hotspots of furong ancient town. The staff provided us with tips and recommendations of the performances and as well as a map. Despite the hotel not having any elevator, the staff helped us bring our luggage to our room (up and down the stairs) as well as from the drop off point. I really liked their free pickup service from the station, very convenient since they later help you drag your luggage to the hotel (the roads are very bumpy). There’s a bit of walk from the entrance of the furong scenic area (4-5min) so I recommend using their drop off service too since they will also help you bring your luggage directly to the car. It’s 20 yuan compared to DiDi which was around 13 yuan (save you the headache of having to drag your luggage around the uneven road).

Our stay at the Inn was lovely, we stayed 3 nights in Furong Town, the hotel is in a great spot and it is easy to walk everywhere in the town from the hotel. There are lots of cute shops and restaurants nearby. The view of the river from our room was also amazing. The host was so kind and helpful with any advice for getting around the area. The train station pickup was also really convenient. The breakfast at the inn was very delicious. I would definitely recommend staying here for a few nights and exploring the local area.
