Wenxi Lanyue Homestay (Furong Town Waterfall Branch)

Very nice homestay right next to the waterfall area with a view onto the performing stage next to the river. The homestay is also at the centre of the tourist attractions with restaurant, convenient stores, ice cream and snacks right next door. The rooms are modern design with good pressure shower and good air conditioning with heater and cooling all can be controlled by your own room according to your own preference. The balcony is the star of the room I have selected as it view is excellent. See the photos of the balcony.

We were picked up at the station for free and taken directly to the hotel, which was a great way to start our stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and in a good condition. The staff treated us well and offered very helpful recommendations, especially regarding the show times. The view from the hotel was definitely worth it. Even though it’s not a direct view of the waterfall, it was still added a lot to the experience. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and appreciated the convenience and kindness we received.

The room was beautiful! traditional type hotel but fully renovated. Perfect location with beautiful view of the river. They also offered free transfer from the train station. Definitely recommend it!

We were picked up by the owner and brought to the hotel by car from the train station. The hotel is a true gem located perfectly within town. The owner’s mum even brought down our suitcases during checkin which we felt really bad about, but there was no stopping her. The owner even speaks a bit of English. We also got a trip back to the train station organised. The room is absolutely amazing with it’s lovely balcony. Only the faucet was acting up a bit which made the owner knock on our door at 06:30am waking us up to close the tap properly. (And no, this is not on us- I have used 2-3 faucets in my life before and this one is just ridiculous)

We had a lovely stay here, it was a great location to be with the two night shows a close walk in either direction. Lovely to be with a balcony along the water and near one of the small waterfalls, both during day and nights lovely experience. They kindly messaged and organised to pick us up from the train station free of charge. They helped us with our bags as in the old town, cars cannot go down the last bit of cobblestone and there are stairs to get to the room, but it was very manageable and as mentioned they also kindly helped us. They also organised a taxi back for us to the station. And when I forgot my earrings after checkout (I had not noticed) the cleaner found them so promptly within 30 minutes that they were kind enough to get them back to me before I had even left for the station, their diligence and helpfulness is greatly appreciated. Would absolutely recommend staying here.
