Hotel Plaza Geihinn

I made a reservation to see two winter festivals in Yokote, ”Kamakura” and ”Bonten”. Since it was during the festival period, I made a reservation through Rakuten Travel last fall. In early February, the inn called me to confirm the meals. There were three dinner courses, and I was staying for three nights, so I asked for those three to be alternated each day. I was worried that the message would be properly delivered, so I was grateful for this call. On the day, I arrived at Yokote Station from Akita Station by JR, and walked from the station, but it was only about 5 minutes away even with luggage. After completing the procedure at the front desk, I headed to my room, but for some reason this was the only place with stairs, which was the only drawback. The room was a large 15-tatami Japanese-style room with a slightly worn interior, but there was nothing particularly bothering me. Since it was a hot spring inn, there was no bath in the room, but the hot spring in the large public bath was very good so it wasn't necessary. To get to the large public bath, you have to go down to the second floor and walk down the corridor, but there is a staircase at the end. The hot spring has an indoor bath and an open-air bath, and since it is large, it seems to be empty in the morning and evening, but there are also day-trippers during the day. Guests of the adjacent ”Hotel Plaza Annex Yokote” can also use the bath, and conversely, you can use the bath in the annex on the 7th floor. The biggest attraction of this hotel is the food, especially the dinner, which is more than you can eat and has delicious dishes made with locally produced ingredients. Alcohol was also reasonably priced. The breakfast was also delicious and made with locally produced ingredients, so I'm glad I chose this inn. There are only about two izakayas around the station, so you may not be able to find dinner, so if you stay at this inn, I recommend that you book a room with meals included. There is a convenience store about a two-minute walk away.

We stayed using GOTO. It was a hot spring that I wanted to stay for a long time, but it was always crowded and the price was reasonable, so it didn't come true, so it was a good opportunity. It's very close to the station, so it's very convenient for those who use the train. Also, there are convenience stores and restaurants around, so don't worry. This time we went by car and parked in the guest-only parking lot. It was pre-clearing to prevent congestion. If you use some kind of coupon such as GOTO, you will need to verify your identity, so be prepared. Hot springs can be used at Yu Yu Plaza and the hotel's hot springs. It was a popular hot spring in the local area, so I used it at different times. Is it better to shift to prevent infection at this time of year? There are visitors until 22:00, so it might be better to take a bath after 21:00. After washing your body and hair, you probably take a bath, but by the time you get into the bath, people will be leaving. It is only open until 8:00 in the morning, so if you want to use Yu Yu Plaza, we recommend using it early in the morning the day before.

Staying for a drinking party though it is local. The room was a normal business hotel, I stayed in a single, but it felt a bit narrow to spread a large suitcase, but the room and the clean bathtub were large and I was able to relax. The front desk and staff were kind and able to stay with peace of mind. Breakfast was Japanese and Western choices. The amount was just right. There is also a coffee service next to the front desk in the morning, and I am satisfied here. I got a hot spring ticket for the hotel next door. I don't know because I haven't used it. There are convenience stores and supermarkets within a few minutes walk. Thank you very much.

Although it was extended, it was originally staying using a premium accommodation ticket in Akita Prefecture until the end of February. It is quite good value for 2 people with breakfast and 9300 yen, and if you use a premium accommodation ticket, you can get 1250 yen cash back from Yokote City. The large communal bath was available for day trips and the parking lot was crowded because it also had a fitness gym. It is close to the national highway and within walking distance to Yokote Station, so the convenience is the best. Breakfast at the restaurant on the first floor was a simple buffet, but I enjoyed Akita's specialties such as Yokote Yakisoba and Donburi.

The facilities are clean. The bath and the room are good and the staff are friendly. The breakfast was also satisfactory, and the porridge and hoji tea jelly were delicious. I'm happy with the bottle, but it's hard to drink 200ML. But I hope that the bottle is happy as a milk lover, so I want you to stay. It is not so high price even though it is a continuous holiday, and the restaurant is good. It was good that there was a convenience store nearby and the station was privately within walking distance.
Hotel Route-Inn Yokote Inter

I stayed here when I went to Yokote by car. As the name of the hotel suggests, it is located near the interchange of the Akita Expressway, and you can walk to Akita Furusato Village. It is about a 10-minute drive to Yokote city, which is a little far to walk to, but there is a ramen shop next door and an Aeon Mall nearby, so you don't have to eat dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. As you would expect from a Route Inn, there is a large public bath and a free breakfast buffet, which is nice.
