The room I stayed this time was room 513. The downlight is dark with only 3. The liquid crystal television is fixed by a wall hanging of 43 inches made of Toshiba. The room door was auto lock. Although it is not a security elevator, the card key does not write a room number, so there is a certain security effect. It seems that it is different depending on the hotel that the electronic key is not in front of Yokohama Sekiuchi station and Yokohama Motomachi station is not auto lock. it is located in shopping/izakaya area. From Yokohama sta., you can walk only around 6-7 mins. to get to the hotel (Yokohama sta. is huge, try to get out at the west exit) it's quite convenient to go anywhere. There's Matsuya restaurant on 1st floor. you can have a cheap and nice quality meal here. The room is clean, so is the bathroom but there's only little space to open the luggage. anyway, it worths the price.

It is just opened in 6/5 and is clean in the hotel building and in the room. Access is a few minutes from Shin Takashima Station of Minato Mirai Line. I think it is based on the person, but if you walk from the east exit of JR Yokohama station to Nissan headquarters building, it is a hotel in another block, so there is a choice here if it is not painful to walk. 1F Enter the hotel entrance and the front desk is 9F so it is in the elevator. Location of this hotel is quite close to railway station, just less than 3 mins walk from the nearest station, although quite far from the main town, the environment is less crowded and fewer tourists nearby, which could be a good choice. The room is also tidy, although the ventilation of toilet could be improved. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is also mediocre, though not many choices, but taste is not bad.

It's pretty good... it's hygienic, environmentally friendly, and has convenient transportation. I'll make another reservation next time I have the chance. Hahaha... It may be a mini and compact version compared to domestic ones, but it has everything it should have. There are refrigerators, water heaters, microwaves, etc.

We booked a Standard Double Room and were upgraded to a Club King as Bonvoy Platinum members. Our first impressions of the hotel were big, beautiful, convenient, but with minimal and stingy service. The Club King room was very nice, modern, quite large with a sofa and desk, and spacious bath. And very clean with lots of amenities. Bed was excellent. Location is very good with direct access to the station, shops, restaurants, and Takashimaya Department Store. Platinum Elite members can check in at the Club Lounge. The lounge is not too large, and I imagine it being very busy on weekends or holidays. Refreshments throughout the day are extremely minimal, just drinks and very light snacks like cookies and crackers (I would definitely not describe this as ”afternoon hors d’oeuvres” as stated on their website). The evening cocktail service is a bit more expansive with salad, 4-5 hot dishes, and dessert. I requested something vegetarian as there was nothing besides salad, and they were able to prepare a steamed vegetable plate and tiny fruit plate which were delicious but not filling, and nothing compared to the regular options available. When asked if it might be possible to prepare a main dish (something with more carbs), I was told they could either give me plain white rice or plain penne pasta with no sauce, I was told to add salt and pepper for flavor. Seriously? Would anyone feel pleased with such an offering? I obviously refused, and was left with a bitter feeling for the rest of our stay. Note that this property does not acknowledge the Marriott Platinum “Guaranteed 4 p.m. Late Checkout” benefit. We stayed on a Sunday, checking out the following Monday (not a holiday, and definitely not a peak day) but were denied late check out, only given 1:00. For a previous reservation, once again checking out on a non-peak Monday, we were also completely denied late check out (only standard 12:00 check out). To the Management of the Yokohama Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, I have a simple question, do you offer 4 p.m. late check-out to your Platinum Members? This is a major deciding factor for Platinum Members in choosing your hotel. Breakfast was not available in the Club Lounge, but in the buffet restaurant Compass. (Another clear indication that the Club Floor was not very busy, so why no late check out?) Breakfast here was nice, not an expansive selection, but a decent selection of both Japanese and Western dishes (but few or no vegetarian options). The orange juicer machine was especially good. Overall, this is a very nice hotel, but it does not feel like a Sheraton property as they deny Bonvoy Elite benefits when they see fit, and the service is not that of an international hotel. Elite Members are not treated as such. It feels more like a Japanese hotel that’s a step or two behind international standards. I really hope things improve as the hotel itself is very nice and we’d like to visit Yokohama again soon.

Check-in took less than 5 minutes The interior of the building, which resembles the inside of a ship, was stylish and exciting. The room is not large, but it has everything you need and is comfortable. We got a free drink at the bar. The breakfast I was looking forward to was a system where you could choose from four main dishes, and drinks, salads, and desserts were self-service. There were many types of drinks that I enjoyed.

Check in was smooth. The hotel clerk who checked us in was friendly. Check out is self serviced. There are check out kiosks on the ground flr and the 20th flr. The hotel staff told us to check out on the ground flr. But if you planned on storing your luggage at the hotel after check out, you should use the check out kiosk on the 20th. The hotel has WiFi coverage in the entire premises. No telephone in the room (not really necessary anyway), but there is a telephone to the reception on each flr by the elevators. The room itself is new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower. There is a stand shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good at this price point. 7-11 is on the ground flr right next to the hotel entrance.

The hotel lobby is huge, the location is convenient to access to Queen's plaza. The room is nice and neat. Excellent services ! We like to return again. Its a good value hotel.
