"Overall, this is a pretty clean hotel. The room was spacious and quite new, perfectly adequate for two people, and the bed was also a good size. However, its location is a bit far from Yokohama Station. You'll need to walk 5 to 10 minutes to Shin-Yokohama Station first, then transfer trains to Yokohama Station. The price was very affordable; at just 208 for one night, it offered excellent value for money. Plus, the Ramen Museum is conveniently located right next door, where you can enjoy making your own ramen and explore the exhibits."

"The room was more than enough for my needs. The hotel is near the train station which was very convenient. Breakfast wasn't that much but it was good. The staff were responsive. It was a great stay overall. I was able to rest after days of traveling."

"I was extremely satisfied with this hotel. Even during the incredibly crowded Obon holiday, all guests at breakfast were remarkably orderly, and the breakfast itself was excellent. The gentleman at the front desk, who was a bit older, was incredibly patient during check-in, and all other staff members were also very warm and welcoming. The 24-hour lemonade was a great touch. The room's soundproofing was excellent. I've already recommended it to friends and colleagues in Tokyo before my trip even ended, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama!"

"It's very close to Kannai Station and right in front of Yokohama Stadium. There's a convenience store and fast food nearby, which is convenient. All three beds were comfortable, and the powder room was a nice touch. It's a great place to stay for the price. However, I was assigned to the second floor, so I requested a higher floor, but they said only the second floor was available. I'm not sure if Trip.com assigned me the second floor, but the large outdoor air conditioner unit was right in front of the window, so I couldn't even open the window halfway."

"Shin-Yokohama is quite a distance from central Yokohama. If you're looking to explore areas like Minato Mirai, you'll definitely need to factor in some travel time and transfers. The hotel's location is decent, situated above the 10th floor of a shopping mall connected to the station. The ambiance is acceptable, but service was average, and the front desk staff's English proficiency was limited. The rooms are standard. Overall, it's more suitable for business travelers and not really ideal for a leisure trip."

"This is my third stay at a Daiwa Roynet Hotel, having previously stayed at their Osaka and Okinawa locations. As expected, the hotel offers excellent value for money, and the front desk service is great. You can pick up daily amenities from the lobby on the third floor. Another fantastic feature at all three locations I've stayed at is the convenience store on the ground floor – 7-Eleven in Osaka and Okinawa, and a Lawson here in Yokohama. This Yokohama Park hotel has a good location with convenient transportation. It's about an 8-minute walk from Kannai train station, and it's only two stops to Yokohama Station. From Yokohama Station, you can reach Shinagawa in just over 20 minutes, and Tokyo/Akihabara/Ueno in about 40 minutes. Turn right out of the hotel and walk about 50 meters, and you'll find Yokohama Chinatown, where you can browse, eat, and buy unique souvenirs. There are plenty of gift options that are not expensive. Yamashita Park is a 10-minute walk away, and Minatomirai isn't far either. Take one stop from Kannai to Sakuragicho, and right outside the station, you'll find the popular Kissa Island Ropeway, perfect for riding the Ferris wheel and visiting the Red Brick Warehouse. There's also a large shopping complex directly opposite the ropeway station exit."

"The room was fine, just a little on the small side. The beautiful lady at the front desk, dressed in a kimono, was incredibly pretty and spoke excellent English. A good range of toiletries was available for self-service. The hotel's location is extremely convenient. Sakuragicho Mall was great for browsing. The Red Brick Warehouse and Yamashita Park are both within easy walking distance. There are multiple FamilyMart and Lawson convenience stores right downstairs. Overall, it was a wonderful travel experience."

"The room was spacious enough for two 24-inch suitcases to open comfortably. On clear mornings, you could even see Mount Fuji from the window, which was a nice bonus! It's super convenient for exploring the surrounding areas from Yokohama – easy access to Tokyo, Haneda Airport, Hakone, and Kamakura. Perfect for an extended stay if you're doing day trips. There's a supermarket downstairs that's open until 11 PM with great prices; a box of Haagen-Dazs was only ten yuan, so I ended up eating it every night! The only minor inconvenience was getting water in the room; you had to go to the hallway to refill, which I guess might be due to Kanagawa's environmental policies, as Tokyo doesn't seem to have this setup."
