This is my second visit, what I would say is I was really lucky last time that I booked random classic room via trip.com and I was assigned the minamimirai city+harbour view 2single bed room (which is the most exp one in non suite guest room) , this time I booked for the same view but a double bed and the room is smaller. The room is still so perfect for chill vacation. Nice walk to park or JR station in early winter, convenience shop nearby , everything is fine.
Do book for Spa some weeks earlier, I just missed it this time. Hope to return in near future.
Wonderful stay!
Staffs were great, there’s a lounge where you can grab free coffee or just chill and relax.
Rooms were clean and spacious, we got a free upgrade with the Bay view!
Hotel is conveniently located just above a metro station! Definitely will return!
Only thing missing is if they could have a nice little Onsen! It will be more than Perfect!
Best hotel we’ve ever been to - the room, amenities, service and friendly employees were all top notch. Icing on the cake was a beautiful view of Mount Fuji from our 49th floor window. Well done Oakwood Suites Yokohama!!!

The breakfast was very good. The staff were lovely. The room was spacious. My view was lovely. The location was chosen for practical purposes but I would not recommend it for general tourists as there was not much in the area to do. I like to just wander around in the evening and this is not the right choice for that. If you like quiet, it might be good for you.
My son and I book this hotel because we went for a nearby concert at the K ARENA, it's only a good 10 mins walk from where we were, there are alot of 7 Eleven around , starbucks and the Queens 1 & 2 is a 30 mins walk to find more restaurants and Mark Is Mall. The hotel is lovely , we had a great place to rest before we could check in strictly at 3pm . Friendly service and we enjoyed the morning breakfast . The rooms are spacious and I love the toiletries. I would highly recommend this place with breakfast .
Excellent hotel. Although the room is large for Tokyo, there’s little room for clothing so you end up mostly living out of a suitcase. Also, toilet light came on automatically and was very bright - so using during the night was disturbing.
We booked the deluxe twin room for a family of 2 adults and 2 children - ages 4 and 6.
The staff were so helpful and welcoming.
Cleanliness was impeccable.
As first time visitors to Yokohama, we thought the location was ok, however we were only getting to know the public transport towards the end of our stay so I’d recommend getting familiar with it to visit attractions more efficiently.
We stayed for the firework on NYE and this hotel delivered!! (Although I did go to the pier to enjoy it with the crowd). This hotel is located above Cross Gate which is a 3-4 level mall mainly of restaurants. I missed the info that they have a car park right under the building so I parked for an hour outside but that's fine. I wish it was multiple entries though. Car park is definitely challenging for bigger cars but manageable. Back to the hotel, it's typical Japanese size or even smaller if it's a two bed room. Breakfast was proper buffet style and I mean the room can fit maybe 30-40 tables if not more so you can imagine their offering is superb in both western and Japanese style. My only regret is I was too tired to walk and try each plate they offer!! Room is tiny but it can be excused by the view. Although I saw some constructions starting so the view might be blocked next time I come :( The only concern I had is that some lifts can connect to the mall bypassing the reception. So literally anyone could arrive to your door, which caught me by surprise a little.
Fantastic location above the subway. Shopping Malls were literally down the hotel and amusement parks are just a stone throw away. The scenic view was amazing. You won't regret staying in this hotel.very comfy bed.
Nice view with a fair price. I was trying to confirm the location of the parking lots with the staff but the front desk of this hotel is located above the ground floor. Overall, it is a good hotel.

AayafangI have reviewed it once before. The location is very good. The room, bathroom, toilet and sink are all separate. I also bought the hotel's pajamas, which are very comfortable. The surrounding scenery is beautiful.
GGuest UserVery convenient location - Hotel is linked to the Yokohama station and shopping area (e.g. Takashimaya). It is very convenient to get to Haneda airport by train (keikyu) and limousine bus (Ycat) which are at the Yokohama station. The breakfast was very good too! However, the indoor pool (sports club) is only for adults so this was disappointing for our kids.
Yyupeng8182During this trip to Japan, we stayed at the New Grand Hotel with a deep sense of history for three nights. The hotel was simple, solemn, elegant and warm. Opposite the hotel is Yamashita Park, which has pleasant scenery, and behind it is Chinatown, which is very lively. The room was clean and tidy, the room key was unique, the staff was gentle, and some of them could speak Chinese, and they spoke it very standardly. The hotel has high-end dining and convenient shopping. During my stay, I saw someone holding a wedding in the hotel.
AAlbert JrGood location. On the ”outskirts” of the Minatomirai area but the cable cars were just outside that could take you over there easy. Links to skybridge to get you around the Minatomirai area was also right there. If you want to explore ”old town”, to the other side was the older town and so really gave you the best of both worlds
AAnonymous UserThe room is clean and the waiter is friendly. Breakfast reservation is convenient and rich. The breakfast waiter is also very friendly and the environment is very good. It is very close to various attractions and is next to the Kanagawa Prefectural Museum. It is a few steps away from Bashamichi subway station.
GGuest UserThe location is very good, near the train station and attractions. Also, there are few convenience store near by. Moreover, I requested to extend the check out time and the staff is so sweet that put the do not disturb board on my door. However, the room smells a bit. Overall, my experience is good.
ホホンちゃんI took my mother here on a whim to visit Chinatown and the pool. It was disappointing that starting this year, guests have been charged for use of the pool.
The pool is small, but it has a jacuzzi and there were plenty of deck chairs.
Most of the guests were families with children, so there were a lot of children at the pool.
The bathtub in the unit bath in the room seemed quite old.
CChristianNice hotel, think it's the only one I've been to in Japan that has a microwave in the room! Location wise it's great for exploring Chinatown and those wanting to go to a DeNA Baystars game. No complaints with comfort or cleanliness, ticks all the boxes you want for a hotel in Japan.
HHaishihaiweidehaiThe room is very small, and the corridor is very narrow or almost non-existent, which is the usual style of the LiveMAX Group. But the facilities in the room are very complete. The entrance of the hotel is a little hard to find, but it is still close to the road. It is relatively close to Yokohama Station, but you still need to walk a few steps, about 800 meters, and it is only 2 kilometers to K-Arena to watch a concert. There are two 7-11 convenience stores downstairs, and one across the road, which is very convenient.
