Yokohama Minami Ward Hotels

ホテル アイマーレ伊勢佐木町 (Hoteru Aimāre Isesakichō) was such a wonderful surprise on our second trip to Yokohama! It deserves 4 to 5 stars in the least. It just has a tucked-in location but a well-worth find. So you won't be lost, here are some guide: Coming up from any of the Blue Line of Yokohama Municipal Subway-- Isezaki-Chojamachi Station (伊勢佐木長者町駅) Exits, you will find the 7-11 convenience store at the corner of the wide Negishi Road (横浜駅根岸道路) and with the stretch of the Odori Park along your right. Please walk towards Lawson Convenience Store and onwards. Walk on for six (6) blocks -- passing playground, Police Headquarters, Fire Station (brick bldg.), Aeon Convenience Store (very friendly and good prices)--until you reach the next Lawson store. That is the Nagashimabashi Intersection. Just turn left passing Century 21, Tiffana--and there with the beautiful blue shade is Hotel Imalle! We stayed in the room with two single beds, and the interiors were just so well-thought and cared for. We appreciate very much that after the long flight and train rides, the room was incredibly comfortable. They provided exquisitely folded bathrobes, and we also liked the beautiful flower-designed bathroom tiles and the wide area between the beds and the tv cabinet. Most of all, the front-desk personnel were so warm and friendly, you would wish you could stay longer. Thank you so much to the staff of Hotel Imalle. Perfect stay in yokohama, location is good, closed to the train station and in front of Nippon maru. Great service, room and facilities. Sky bar is very nice. We also can see Mt.Fuji from the window (62 th floor, city view).

The hotel lobby is huge, the location is convenient to access to Queen's plaza. The room is nice and neat. Excellent services ! We like to return again. Its a good value hotel.

A bit dingier than usual rooms at this price point, and missing some of the extra touches (such as paper cups instead of real cups, and only a single packet of coffee in the room), but was suitable and had everything I needed. I would stay again, but would prefer to stay in a little brighter room with the extra touches.

The Regency Club staff at this hotel are some of the best in the industry. Staff that made our 15 night stay feel like home: Shoko, Risako, Chiaki, Shelley, Futoshi, Bianca, Mizuki, Hsegawa and some others but unfortunately I didn't get their names. They helped me with all me needs and questions including helping me with reservations and travel plans. They all speak English and are super patient with families. The rooms are super clean and modern. Housekeeping is amazing and made sure our baby diaper pail was changed each day and every inch of our room was clean. I opted for a suite which had an amazing bathroom with a super big tub. The blinds are automatic and the views are great. Breakfast buffet had so many choices and was so good. Hotel is 2 blocks from an amazing waterfront park and a 10 minute walk to Yokohama Stadium. 5 minute walk to Chinatown as well. The train is also less than a 5 minute walk and there is a 24 hour Lawson right across the street. Oh yea, a really special thanks to the bell-woman who waited with my luggage across the street in front of Lawson with the taxi while I ran back to my room after realizing I forgot my phone in the room after checking out.

At the top of a downtown tower is the Oakwood Suites Yokohama. Upon arrival; after parking in the hotel's underground car park, we arrived at the reception with a breathtaking view of the city of Yokohama and Mount Fuji in the distance. Our rooms were fantastic and beautifully decorated. They were very large with a large, very well-equipped kitchen, a magnificent bathroom, a washing machine and a breathtaking view of the harbour. The cleanliness of the room and the hotel was exemplary. We had a very pleasant stay and all the hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly.

■ View bus Luxury Ocean twin Bay View Room The room with a clean can has a large window and a balcony. The view from the room, the balcony is the bay bridge, the Ferris wheel is visible. The bathtub and shower room are separate 々, so you can take a bath time slowly. The night view of the Ferris wheel with the bathroom was also very beautiful. Breakfast is surrounded by palm trees and a buffet style restaurant with a southern atmosphere. There were many items and it was delicious. This time, the prefectural people were applied and we were able to stay at a reasonable price. Check in was smooth. The hotel clerk who checked us in was friendly. Check out is self serviced. There are check out kiosks on the ground flr and the 20th flr. The hotel staff told us to check out on the ground flr. But if you planned on storing your luggage at the hotel after check out, you should use the check out kiosk on the 20th. The hotel has WiFi coverage in the entire premises. No telephone in the room (not really necessary anyway), but there is a telephone to the reception on each flr by the elevators. The room itself is new and clean. Toilet is separated from the shower. There is a stand shower and bathtub. Breakfast is good at this price point. 7-11 is on the ground flr right next to the hotel entrance.

Location of this hotel is quite close to railway station, just less than 3 mins walk from the nearest station, although quite far from the main town, the environment is less crowded and fewer tourists nearby, which could be a good choice. The room is also tidy, although the ventilation of toilet could be improved. The buffet breakfast provided by the hotel is also mediocre, though not many choices, but taste is not bad.

For a Daiwa Roynet, I found this hotel a bit disappointing compared to their other hotels. Their other hotels tend to be much more modern in feel and minimalist yet comfortable. This one felt ”old”. Flooring was minimally carpeted so the floor felt hard. Beds were not as comfy as their other hotels. But the rooms seemed larger than normal even for standard rooms. Location is good because it's right on the outskirts of Chinatown and the Yama****a park and station. So from the hotel, accessibility to Yokohama is great.
