A very good experience of stay. Good location which right next to the JR station, shopping mall and a wonderful harbour view during my stay. So many food and shopping choose around the hotel. Staffs are so nice and helpful. Will come again next time!!

Opened just a year ago after a complete renovation, this is a very modern hotel. Since all the ground-floor, ocean-facing spaces are restaurants, the hotel lobby is uniquely located on the 12th floor. This scenic lobby also doubles as a café, where guests can sit on the outdoor balcony overlooking the view. There's a designated smoking area by the side entrance of the lobby.
The facilities are brand new, and the layout is clean, spacious, and stylish. We stayed in a triple room, and even with suitcases open, there was still plenty of space – perfectly suited to Chinese guests' preferences. The bedding is high quality and available for purchase.
Let's talk about breakfast. Upon check-in, guests are informed of two options: Japanese breakfast, served at the 12th-floor café, and Western breakfast, served at the 1st-floor Western restaurant. The Japanese option offers three set menus, while the Western option features four main sets. After ordering, you can help yourself to the buffet bar for salads, drinks, bread, and more. The Western breakfast was so delicious that we didn't get a chance to try the Japanese one.
Regarding the hotel's location, opinions may vary. Most people might choose to stay in Sakuragicho or Minato Mirai, as this hotel is a bit off the beaten path, situated near Yamashita Park. The Summer Festival is held here, allowing visitors to truly experience the atmosphere of traditional Japanese festivals. The hotel faces the sea, directly opposite the Hikawa Maru ocean liner. As the only surviving international ocean liner from WWII, it's definitely worth boarding and exploring. It's a 5-minute walk from the hotel to the subway station, providing easy access to all Yokohama stops. Directly across the street is a bus stop with direct service to Haneda Airport, with buses running almost every hour. Within a 5-minute walk, you'll find Takashimaya department store; Chinatown is 10 minutes away, as is a massive Don Quijote store. A lifestyle plaza is a 20-minute walk, and there's also a Montbell outlet store where we spent four hours. This outlet store offers tax-free shopping, but it requires downloading a third-party app and incurs a 3% service fee, which makes the process a bit inconvenient.
Yokohama truly lives up to its reputation as an international port city. Around the hotel, you'll find a wide array of Western restaurants, with impeccable ambiance and cuisine, and even handsome waiters. It's a very cosmopolitan city.

Hotel is next stop after Yokohama station. I would suggest pick the Met series right on the big station so no need to travel extra. Other than that room is clean, new and bigger than a standard Tokyo hotel. Bathroom is very decent and good size. Free coffee in the lobby is really nice, pretty good coffee too!
We really liked this hotel! The location is fantastic - it's right next to China Town and across the street from a beautiful park connected to Yokohama stadium. The area is lovely - we wish we stayed longer! The hotel exterior is very nice and the entrance is modern and welcoming. It's also attached to a Lawson which is convenient for late night snacks. We really enjoyed this place, will definitely come back next time we are in Yokohama!
This hotel offers significantly better value for money than hotels in Tokyo or Osaka. I really love Yokohama, and last time I didn't get to stay here. Choosing to stay this time was a truly pleasant surprise, and my child loved it too. The location is excellent; it's a short walk to both Chinatown and Yamashita Park.

The hotel's location offers pretty convenient transportation. While the building itself seems a bit dated and the overall environment is just average, the front desk staff were notably friendly and welcoming. The room was quite small, but it did come with all the basic amenities, including an air purifier and a refrigerator. The main downside is that prices double on weekends, which makes it feel quite overpriced and not great value for money.
However, its convenient proximity to various attractions is a significant advantage. Sakuragicho Station, from where you can take the ropeway to the Ferris wheel, is just a few minutes' walk away. It's also not far from Yamashita Park and the Red Brick Warehouse, making all these popular spots easily accessible.

The room was exceptionally clean, and the entire hotel felt neat and well-maintained. The location is also superb. The in-room bathroom featured a practical dry/wet separation, and they even offer a spacious public bath on the first floor for guests. It's conveniently located very close to Kannai Station, with Lawson, 7-Eleven, and FamilyMart convenience stores right next door. Yokohama Stadium is also just a stone's throw away. This makes it a perfect choice for those visiting Yokohama or looking to avoid the hustle and bustle of Tokyo. It truly lives up to its reputation as a hotel with absolutely no flaws! I hope they continue to maintain this high standard.
The hotel is not bad. I have stayed at other branches of the Comfort hotel chain before, but the one seems a bit older. There is a high step to get into the bathroom, which is a bit dangerous, and the bathroom ceiling is a bit low. For reference, I'm 1.66 m. Breakfast is decent, but dishes repeat every 2 days or so, and it can get very crowded as the dining area is small. The free drinks are a nice touch. Good area room stay in. Port, park, stadium, Chinatown, redbrick warehouse, etc. are all in walkable distance. There are decent food options around as well. The staff are nice and helpful! They even tucked my soft toy in while tidying the room :)
Our room was incredibly spacious and spotless, a rare find for a hotel in Japan. We stayed for two nights, and the generous layout of the room made our stay exceptionally comfortable. The location is fantastic: there are two convenience stores right downstairs, and Nihon-odori Station (Exit 4) is only about 500 meters away – a straightforward walk, even with luggage. We also enjoyed the cozy coffee shop near the subway entrance. What's more, the hotel is within easy walking distance to the port, and you can even stroll to the Cup Noodle Museum.

Outstanding
GGuest UserI stayed for five nights.
The building was old, and it was necessary to consider the noise to the 2 floor
Other than that, it was very clean, and the amenities such as towels and shampoo were well equipped, which was very good.
Also, the washing dryer was installed, so it was very helpful for consecutive nights.
The bath was also large enough and comfortable.
However, this time, I stayed with my work companion, so it was a little hard that I didn't have a bath or a key to the dressing room.
Also, in the case of consecutive nights, it is good to have a cleaning tool because it is good to have a simple broom.
I was out during the day, but at night I had dinner at a nearby shop every day.
There are a lot of nice shops in the neighborhood, and everyone is delicious! !!
I was happy to have only really delicious places such as Japanese food, Chinese food and Italian food.
It was very convenient to go to eat porridge in the morning because it was a walking distance to Chinatown.
If you have another chance like this, I would like to stay.
i'm sorry!
GGuest UserThere are supermarkets and convenience stores nearby. It was easy to buy and buy.
There were all frying pans, pots, tableware, etc., so there was no problem even if cooking.
There are also beds and large, so it is suitable for large people.
GGuest UserThis hotel is so beautiful, a combination of modern and modern. The breakfast view is as beautiful as a painting. Entering from another door is a historical site. It is a hotel where MacArthur and Chaplin once stayed. It is full of historical sense and very photogenic. I hope to stay a few more days next time.
GGuest UserIt's about a ten-minute walk from Yokohama BUNTAI Stadium. There's a 711 convenience store ten meters away from the hotel. There's a chain coffee shop on the second floor. It's very convenient for breakfast and the breakfast is very cost-effective. Although it's on the street, it's quite quiet at night and doesn't affect your rest. It's a little far from the subway entrance, about a ten-minute walk, and very close to the bus station. Hygiene: It's OK, the standard of a normal hotel. Service: The service is very good, the front desk can communicate in English
SSusanTemperature in the room is terrible. There’s big note saying that temperature is central controlled and front desk will adjust for us. Unfortunately we were told it’s auto set for 24 degree in the end of Spring. They only can offer a table fan to cool us down. My hubby was sweating all night long. He was wet through the bed sheet. Very dissatisfied. No more coming back to Route-Inn. Can you imagine if it’s in summer, we will be toasted!!
Breakfast is good for variety. Like the time slot policy for breakfast and pick your own time.
GGuest UserThe hotel boasts extremely convenient transportation, just a 10-minute walk from the subway station. It's perfectly situated in Yokohama Chinatown, offering abundant dining options with plenty of Chinese restaurants. As an established 5-star hotel, the staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, and the facilities are equally upscale and impressive. They even offer services in Chinese. Plus, it's only a 5-minute stroll to the seaside and Yamashita Park. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Yokohama. The rooms are quite spacious, especially for Japanese standards.
GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located near the subway station. The room is clean and tidy, the service is attentive, and the breakfast is good. However, the room is a bit small. It is very convenient to get to the tourist attractions and is suitable for solo travelers.
SSaikhnaa AmarsaikhanThe location is great being very close to Kannai station, the room was clean if small, the price was reasonable and the Wi-Fi was OK. I had two issues during my stay:
1. During my check in, the staff kept asking me if I wanted to leave my luggage. I had no idea where this was coming from and I said I’ll take my luggage to my room. They asked me about two more times if they could keep my luggage. After this, I said no I had no luggage even though I literally had it next to me. Then they said “Ah OK, we apologize for our misunderstanding” and then gave us our key. What was this all about?
2. They don’t allow you leave your luggage after you check out. In all my life, this was the only place that had this policy.
