First room was not good.. Air Conditioning has terrible sounding, bathroom door, towels were dirty. Then reported to receptionist. I met with higher personnel for the hotel, then I reported with condition of the room. Then she gave me a better room than the first one.
But, still towels and bed linen are old and look dirty.

The man in the reception during the morning is very helpful and friendly. They helped us with some stuff and provided suggestions where to go. Problem during the night, when we had a problem with our plane booking, we asked for help but we have a small problem because the night shift guy can't understand English. He tried really hard to help though.

This hotel is suitable for me as a solo traveler, although the rooms are small but I like it for transit because my train at the midnight, close to Lempuyangan Station about 5 minutes by car, but not so close to Malioboro if you walk. The private bedroom with ensuite bathroom (has amenity too), a Smart TV (this is very important) and comfy bed is very good and comfortable to me compared to ”real cabin/capsul hotel”, the minus is it doesn't have a window (to outside). The price is reasonable and better if you go show to the hotel than OTA. Thank you Mr. Dedi to your hospitality !

The hotel is near to the Train Station, but the window sound proofing is poor.
We cannot sleep the whole night, due to constant beeping sound of the train preparing to leave. It is a sharp beeping sound that goes on the whole night. Even when it stop, you can still hear it play back in your mind.
Our facing is facing their pool, and sound from the pool, even conversation at wee hours of the night can be heard in our room.

This hotel is very recommended for those who choose a super comfortable 3 star hotel and a jet-king king. Make a photo” just cool too. The Gazebo Garden Restaurant is an interesting and exotic place with an open terrace with a very delicious gourmet menu. There is also the Shinta Garden for regular dinner. There is also Joglo Rama, suitable for company parties, Family memorial, and other events. Oh yes, if dinner here you can get a package with the Ramayana Ballet show held at Amphi-Theater Puraa tour every night. You can check it directly at @ramayanaballetpurawisata. The room was nice clean,and cozy and the food was great. The breakfast variety were boost my mood. What a wonderfull time to stay with a warmest and helpfull team. Mr Agus has shown the proffessionalism and great us in every single guests momment during our stay. A nice guy you have to meet. GGuest UserSo the hotel lobby is very nice and inviting, and the rooms are modern and extremely clean. We opted for the upgraded room which I felt for the few dollars spent, was well worth it. The breakfast is amazing, with literally hundreds of choices and a fruit stand with mangosteen and other exotic fruits. ” Full on” Western, Asian and Indonesian breakfast choices. Bed and linens were comfortable. English is not well spoken or understood by most of the staff, although we eventually found someone that could communicate with us. The only complaint I had was that, in preparation for New Year's Eve festivities, they allowed a contractor to assemble from scratch--along with the accompanied drilling/banging/sawing--a group of wooden caricatures. We sat down to have dinner in the hotel restaurant but couldn't because of the loud noises the contractor was making far across the opposite end of the lobby. When we brought this disturbance to the attendant, who apologized but said nothing to the contractor. So we ended up NOT eating in the hotel restaurant and leaving. The contractor had his electric saws on the lobby furniture, and was using other lobby chairs at a sawhorse. Comical, yet simply baffling.

PPEICHANI have a great stay in FaveHotel Malioboro. The only downside is there is no fitness room and the mosque is beside the hotel. Every morning we will be awaken by the prayers. Other than that, everything is good, near to Malioboro street. In addition ,I would like to give compliment to Miss April and the hotel driver. Miss April was really helpful and caring. I fell down when I jogged on 28/8, the staff immediately called the driver to fetch me to the 24 hours clinic. The driver help me to get the medicine and pay the medical fees first as I didn't bring money to the clinic. Miss April helped me to purchase the train tickets to Yogyakarta International Airport as I was not able to do the online payment. I really feel warm. All the staff are well manner, there provide welcome drinks and every floor has a free water cooler. The buffet breakfast is good. The hotel also provides free shuttle to Train Station. Thanks again to Favehotel Malioboro! If I come again, I will choose to stay here again.

AAnonymous UserNice pod concept, although the location is sort of creepy despite being right across a train station. The hostel is 100% safe thanks to the unique QR code an app system you have to use to open the main door and the pods, but the place itself is situated in a dilapidated building, with trash on the stairs. Right outside there's some street food vendors, but once again, they give you a creepy vive alongside all the people loitering there. FamilyMart and Lawson and a local convenience store are downstairs. The hostel itself is clean and the staff are nice, so much so I staid at their sister hotel in Jogjakarta, which is identical in every way. Good english. Breakfast is sort of mediocre but free (cereal with milk manually prepackaged on a cardboard box), but you can't purchase their frozen meals unless you have an Indonesian mobile app (no cash). Far from everything, but that's Jakarta for you, a city you should skip unless you have business to conduct.

HHIROKExcellent location. Next road and the road on which the hotel is located has many eateries, coffee shops, souvenir shops. Walkable to all of them. The hotel itself is good. Spacious rooms. We had room (king bed) on the 4th floor. Nice and clean. It has balcony facing the city. The odd numbered rooms are city facing and even numbered are pool facing. The pool water is ice cold all the time ! That wasnt really great. Breakfast was decent - no western/ English fare (no sausage, bacons etc.) Fruits were great, otherwise Indonesian menu in the breakfast. There was pancakes, eggs corner, muffins but similar and standard each day. We stayed for 4 nights. They dont have a 'Earthquake alert system' - there are earthquakes pretty much every day in Yogyakarta. Staff helpful polite and courteous. They have breakfast boxes if you are leaving before 6 am for a flight / anything else. Good stay. Will recommend the hotel.

HHoimanLocation is good. Beside a small mall and also near to 1 of the popular restaurants. Room is quite spacious and clean.. but the air con was a bit hard to control - too cold if we on the fan even to the lowest; seemed like no ventilation when we off the fan. The comforter was not very thick so it was still freezing for us when we had the fan on.
But overall still a good stay.

PPinn27The room and bathroom is very clean and spacious. They also have netflix and the internet connection is very fast. But for breakfast only 2 choice toast and rice, include coffe or tea. I hope they can mantain for execelent quality service.
