Perhaps it was just bad luck, but I booked two twin rooms and was assigned rooms 325 and 326. In room 326, the electric kettle wasn't working and the air conditioning wasn't cooling. We reported it to the front desk. Shortly after, a staff member came to room 326 with a replacement electric kettle and told us to wait, as the AC engineer would come to fix it. We waited until 12:30 AM, but no one showed up. Even by morning, and up until we checked out, the engineer still hadn't arrived. Suffice to say, next time I'll be booking a different hotel.

I unexpectedly stumbled upon this hotel, and it's incredibly good value for money. It's comfortable and clean, with excellent, friendly service.

Hotel is located 20 mins walk from Yogyakarta train station. The room is old and poorly maintained with many school children staying for group tours. The toilet was in bad condition and the towel/bedsheets are yellow with unpleasant smell. I will not recommend this hotel even though the price and facilities are decent.

Our booking was for a 4-day, 3-night stay with breakfast. The breakfast spread definitely needs improvement – there were no local cakes or pastries.

Great hotel in a good location, with sites in walking distance and transport options close by. Breakfast has a good range of options. Special mention to the staff. Housekeeping were great, and the room was cleaned to a very high standard. Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Breakfast staff also very helpful, courteous, and quick to clean tables for next guests. Also, there's a swimming pool if you fancy a swim.

The room was quite because the location is not near main road. The amenities was standard. Probably making a booking again for the price. The room facilities needs improvement, example: adding more amenities (the mini cafe), the hot water also hot not just warm okay.

Love the room! It was clean, and the cleaning service came daily to clean the room. They gave new water every day. There is a swimming pool too. Always love Zest!
