Good hotel, simple but cosy and clean. Staff is always very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet is good and the dinner buffet is different and good every evening. The excursions organised by Safartica are great. The skiing slopes are only 15 bus minuten away. And nature is calling right outside the hotel There are two separate saunasfor men and wonen.

Our daughter booked this as a late cancellation with INGHAMS. 4 adults 2 kids, 5 & 7 years old, to see Santa. Firstly, I would like to thank my daughter for including us old fogies, secondly our thanks to the INGHAMS Team, and finally Santa for giving the kids a most wonderful experience. We went half board for a week half board in a cabin 300m from the hotel. The cabin had everything, including a sauna & log burner. Very comfy and always warm. The hotel provide us with breakfast & evening meal ( buffet) style with something for everyone, both in the morning & evening. The Finnish coffee is amazing. Alcohol is generally expensive everywhere, expect to pay £7.50 for a pint of beer and similar for a glass of wine, so best to stock up on the Duty Free. There is a supermarket 35 minute walk away, and a nice ,safe, well lit walk away, for1/2 price beer. As this is a write up on the hotel, I would say they provide everything for your trip, and for that reason I give this a five star report.

We expected a basic but nice hotel... Room not cleaned on arrival (they were overbooked) and broken window (we were asked if this was a problem). Cleaned and repaired the next day with no apology or gesture of compensation. Receptionists mostly rude throughout the stay. Basic food and limited choice.

We had an extraordinary stay at the Ylläsrinne establishment. The hotel is ideally located in the heart of a protected natural park. At the foot of it you will find cross-country ski trails, snowshoes, hiking trails. Clear view of the mountain 🏔️. Very pleasant and comfortable room. As for the restaurant, we loved all the menus offered during our week, homemade and local cuisine. Provision of sleds, snowshoes and cross-country skis is very appreciable. Thank you to the entire Safartica team who offered us the most magical and magnificent excursions (dog sledding, snowmobiling, reindeer, snow village, etc.). The sauna is very pleasant after returning in the evening (to be tested without hesitation). Thank you for this unforgettable trip ☺️

Wonderful little hotel with 50 rooms in the middle of nature in the middle of the forest and cross-country ski trails. Many trails for snowshoeing. 3 km from a small supermarket in Ylläsjärvi. Ski bus in front of the hotel. Many activities snowmobile, reindeer. Huskies etc ... Thanks to the very very nice young French-speaking animators and the very nice Finnish service staff. We were lucky enough to see the northern lights. Prefer a room with a forest view for the auroras, because those with a parking lot view are not on the right side. In terms of meals. It is very extensive, those who complain should not forget that they are not in France .... It is not gastronomy ... but it is very good. We had reindeer and salmon. Wifi in the rooms, gym, room for the auroras, snow equipment provided, great sauna. what more could you ask for !! Great stay

Perfect bedding. A little noise the first two evenings in the corridor ... but fortunately the noisy guests had to leave .. Very good meal and really pleasant service. The hotel is very well located in a quiet area and next to the start of the cross-country ski and snowshoe trails

extraordinary stay in a magical place. The Finnish staff is lovely and caring. The hotel is in the middle of nature with a buffet-style restaurant. Special dedication to the head chef who prepared dishes especially for me because of my allergies. Only positive, nothing to complain about. Magnificent fireworks on the frozen lake with champagne on the evening of December 31st, just perfect. Extreme cold weather outfit loaned all week with full suit, snow boots, wool socks, leather and lined gloves, neck warmer, balaclava, scarf, ... loan of snowshoes and cross-country skis and sled free of charge ...
