The overall design, from the furniture to the lighting to the landscaping, is truly thoughtful. I especially loved the hotel's tea room; it was absolutely stunning. It rained the entire time I was there, but the sounds of rain, wind, frogs, and birdsong were even more poetic. Time slipped by unnoticed there, and the quiet and peaceful atmosphere was truly soothing. -Dining: Both breakfast and afternoon tea were incredibly well-presented, and I was amazed both days. I wanted to try them all on the first day, but I went right away on the second. Every dish was truly delicious. The food at Shangyuan was also excellent, allowing us to experience unique dishes, and the service was once again top-notch.
