Pai Hotel (Yining Tianshan Road Airport)

❌1: The hotel is a 26-minute walk from Liuxing Street (very far) ❌2: The hotel is very old and small, with shabby decor that's over 10 years old (a real pitfall, I didn't notice it). ❌3: The hotel was very poorly cleaned, with hair, unidentified liquids, and frizz everywhere (and bugs crawling around, which left me with bites on my legs). ❌4: The hotel's bath towels were even more worn and threadbare than my own dish towels, and the sheets and duvet covers were sagging and uncomfortable to wear. ❌5: The hotel is very small, even smaller than my bathroom, and it's very noisy. There's a neighborhood with lots of traffic behind it, and a main road in front. ❌6: I noticed bugs shortly after checking in. I called the front desk and they said if I stayed more than five minutes, I'd be able to get a refund. They said the boss's policy is to allow free refunds within 15 minutes, but they refused to refund me if I stayed more than five minutes. (This is unreasonably unreasonable.) ❌7: Anyone who says good reviews about this hotel are shills. This is truly the worst hotel I've ever stayed in (not even a hotel). ❌No. 8: The soundproofing is terrible. I could clearly hear people talking next door and walking upstairs. (If you're not afraid of staying up late, give this a try.)
