The aunties provided good service, but some male waiters had average service attitudes.
It was good to have a free car to pick up and drop off at the high-speed rail station. I don't know what happened on the return trip. The front desk got my pick-up time wrong. BBENJAMIN ROBERTThe hotel was very good - easy check-in (other hotels can be rather difficult these days due to COVID), and a very decent breakfast of pork noodles and coffee. The room was superb though - very neat and clean and beautiful, better than I expected it to be. There were lots of nice touches, like the room having a bluetooth connection so you could play music through room speakers, and some free tea, and drinking water on-tap. Service was very pleasant too.
The town itself isn't too exciting, but you're in easy reach of the cave and glass bridge and other attractions. If visiting Jiulong ideally it's best if you drive there, but taxis are cheap if you need one.

It's not easy to reach the hotel as it is on a mountain top and the road is a bit daunting, so we prepared our favourite board games and snacks to keep us entertained. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant boasts with a wide range of delicious food options. We also really enjoyed the pets company.

We are traveling on our own without driving. The scenic spots in the Yingxi Corridor are scattered, and Aaron is always available to provide transportation services for us, using his private car to drive us to each scenic spot. We completed our itinerary as expected: After visiting several small attractions in Huanghua Town, Yingde, we went to Fenglin Wonderland, Dongtian Wonderland, and climbed to the peak of the forest..., then went to Jiulong Town to visit the key scenic spot of the Yingxi Corridor, Fenglin Town. . OOopotatooWe went the day before the hotel got flooded, so we managed to enjoy 2 days of swimming around the hotel lanes which was really fun! Unlimited swimming, hot springs and sauna. Although you’re not allowed to use any of these if there’s a thunderstorm so keep an eye out for the weather.
The hotel should’ve warned the guests of flooding, or cancelled the rooms for guests’ safety, which was definitely a mistake on their part. However the staff response after the flooding was fantastic, they all kept calm and friendly despite many angry guests (which was to be expected as many had their cars destroyed). They were in the same situation as we were, trapped in the hotel lobby for days without power, but still tried their best to help the guests out as much as they could.
