I came to Yingxi with a group of seven friends. I did a lot of research online and finally chose Yingxi Tangquan Resort Hotel. There are several outdoor hot spring pools in the yard. The room is big enough and the bathroom is very convenient and practical. The hotel is in a good location, right next to the Peng Family Ancestral Temple Scenic Area, across the river from the Bamboo Raft Pier, and only a five-minute walk away. The hotel also thoughtfully provided tickets for the bamboo raft tour and Peng Clan Ancestral Hall. It’s not far from other scenic spots, and the hotel provides free bicycles. We rode eight kilometers to the Guanyin Valley Scenic Spot the next morning. The front desk clerk was very warm and thoughtful, and answered all kinds of questions patiently. A big thumbs up! We had dinner on the first day and lunch on the second day at the hotel restaurant. The food was delicious and the price was reasonable. The most considerate thing is that when we were at Guanyin Valley in the morning, we called to make a reservation and asked the restaurant to cook the old duck soup in advance. We already had delicious duck soup at lunch! The only drawback is that when driving to the resort, you must pass through Huanghua Town. There is a section of the town under construction, which will test your driving skills. In addition, the helmsman (driver) of the bamboo raft tour had a very bad attitude and looked at his mobile phone while driving the boat. On the return trip, none of us wanted to go to the Peng Clan Temple due to the hot weather. When we arrived at the Peng Clan Ancestral Hall pier, we told the master that we wanted to return to the starting point with the boat. As a result, the master had a bad attitude and kicked us off the boat. He drove the empty boat by himself. The ship went back. But this is something that the bamboo raft tour organizers need to improve, and it should have nothing to do with the resort.
